Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: New Year’s Wishes For Three Genoa City Characters

Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: New Year's Wishes For Three Genoa City CharactersThis year has been quite dramatic on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Now, as 2019 is set to arrive, three specific Genoa City character’s lives can be improved if the following wishes are granted.

Devon (Bryton James) lost what would have been his first child this summer. Then, days later, he lost the infinite love of his life, Hilary (Mishael Morgan). The end of ‘Hevon’ represented a sharp change in storyline direction for James’ character.

Loren Lott (Ana) is proving to be a charismatic recast of Devon’s sister. Ana is surely helping Devon, along with Nate (Brooks Darnell), to move forward with life. But a romantic partner is needed in 2019. So here’s wishing love for Devon, as Hilary requested before she died.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon’s Future

Sharon (Sharon Case) did not deserve what she received this year, rebooted betrayal. Nick (Joshua Morrow) cavorted last summer with the one person on the planet who was responsible for crushing Sharon’s world in the mid-2000’s.

Phick’s initial edition was Y&R’s response to killing Cassie (Camryn Grimes) off in 2005, which remains one of this show’s most controversial choices and arguably, most damaging decisions. While the past can never truly be redressed, here’s wishing for a miracle. Sharon takes Nick back and the revived ‘Shick’ never ends. That wouldn’t correct wrongs, but would confirm that redemption is possible.

Paul (Doug Davidson) returns to his post as chief of police. Yes!

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Will Paul Return?

Davidson was Y&R’s second most-tenured character, trailing only Kate Linder (Esther, since the show’s inception in 1973). He was dropped to recurring status in January and seemingly written out a handful of months ago.

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is a good character and his family is also cool. But there is surely room in this fictional town for more than one police representative, as has been true in past years.

The new regime at Y&R is strongly tied to this soap’s history. So, promise for Paul’s restoration as top boss is a reasonable wish that can be fulfilled.

Of course, there are plenty of other solid wishes that can be offered. Valued readers can insert those below.

Do not miss Paul. He had such a bland personality. Never could see him as a police detective. Rey is much better actor, and is more believable as police chief .

You can only be the character as they write for you. I like Paul and hope they bring him back and give him a better storyline and his personality from years gone by.
Christine has a rotten personality right now and could use a remake as well. Just my opinion.
