Y&R Alum Daniel Goddard Hints At Something “Incredible” On The Horizon – Is Cane Ashby Returning To GC?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal it’s been a hot minute since Cane Ashby has been seen in Genoa City. Still, the character’s portrayer recently hopped on social media to alert fans that something big was on the horizon for him.

Y&R Spoilers: Is Cane Ashby Returning To Genoa City?

Y&R spoilers note that even though Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has mentioned Cane now and again, it’s been five years since actor Daniel Goddard has been seen on the soap.

He recently uploaded a video on Instagram to touch base with fans and update them on “something truly incredible” that is on the horizon.

In the IG video he states, “I just wanted to reach out and say hello and see how you’re doing.”

He goes on to say, “…something truly incredible is in the midst.”

In fact, while he couldn’t share more details, Goddard also notes he cannot wait to tell fans more.

Could Goddard be teasing a return to Genoa City?

In the IG video, Goddard also relays how much he’s missed fans, “very much”.

It’s hard not to think that Cane could return to Genoa City, considering the history and roots the character has in the little town. While Josh Griffith recently hinted that Lily will finally find true love as 2024 comes to an end, many fans believe this person could be Nate Hastings’s (Sean Dominic) half-brother, Damien.

Still, Lily is single, and she and Cane were once one of the top super couples on the show. Could Cane return to see if a romantic reunion is possible? Then again, he could return with other ideas on his mind, including business.

Cane and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) were very close at one point. While he first entered the canvas pretending to be Jill’s long-lost son, Philip Chancellor III (Thom Bierdz) the two forged a mother-son bond, so perhaps he’s ready to help Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) scoop Chancellor back and help lead that ship. Only time will tell.
