Y&R Alum Hunter King Set To Lead New Hallmark Movie

The former Young & The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates reveal actress Hunter King has been cast in an upcoming Hallmark movie that will be part of the network’s Summer Nights programming event. Hunter King, who Y&R fans know best as Summer Newman, will play the lead in Hidden Gems, co-starring alongside actor Beau Mirchoff.

Mirchoff is best known for his recent role in ABC Family’s Good Trouble. Hunter will star as Addie, a young woman who accidentally loses her grandmother’s ring somewhere in the waters of Hawaii. Determined to get the ring back, she hires a professional diver to attempt to find the ring.

Beau Mirchoff will play the diving instructor named Jack. When the pair first meet their personalities and ideas clash, especially when Addie wants to help find the ring. Jack worries she is inexperienced but after the pair come to an agreement, Jack agrees to take her. The pair take off on an adventure with Jack also serving as Addie’s tour guide. 

Y&R Spoilers – Hunter King Makes Fans Curious With Filming Location Photos

Young & The Restless fans were recently curious as to what Hunter King has been up to since leaving the soap opera behind after she shared gorgeous beach photos and pics of ocean views on her Instagram. Now its clear, King has been filming in the islands of Hawaii. Hidden Gems will air along with three other original Summer Nights movies during June.

Also set to be featured as part of the Summer Nights on Hallmark is Caribbean Summer starring actors Heather Hemmens and Ser’Darius Blain set to air on June 11. Moriah’s Lighthouse will air on June 18 with Rachelle Lefevre and Luke Macfarlane in the lead roles. Lastly, Two Tickets to Paradise, starring Ashley Williams, Ryan Paevey and Mary-Margaret Humes will air on June 25.
