Sally And Billy Bring Ruby Home
Sally and Billy arrive home with baby Ruby, feeling blessed, and Sally says they have everything they’ve ever wanted. However, Genoa City rarely allows such contentment to persist.
Sally notices her husband’s distress and presses him about a phone call.
Billy reveals that Jill Abbott (most recently played by Lauren Koslow) has suffered a heart attack.
Snapper Foster (David Hasselhoff) called as the reception began, and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is already heading to London.

Sally insists Billy go as well.
Billy argues that Cane will assess the situation first, but Sally won’t hear it and orders him to pack.
Billy hesitates, not wanting to miss time with the newborn.
As previously reported, Billy faced a heartbreaking family dilemma just as Sally welcomed their baby.
Sally Talks Billy Into Going And Explains Adam Delivering Ruby
Sally counters that this could be his last chance to see his mother and that he could share news of her granddaughter and find closure.
She reassures him that she supports him through everything.
Already acting as household manager, Sally then mentions that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) delivered the baby.
According to her account, Adam was simply paying his respects and leaving when her water broke.
He attempted to call Billy, but Billy didn’t answer, and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) had her phone.
Sally asks them to move past Adam’s involvement, a difficult request for any spouse.
Of course, Adam stepping in to deliver Sally’s baby was an unexpected twist that neither newlywed could have predicted.
Sally Recounts Her Labor Through Tears, Then Adam Returns With Chelsea
Through tears, Sally recounts her terror and refusal to let Adam leave the room to search for Billy.
Adam’s presence steadied her.
Billy appreciates Adam’s support but regrets his absence.
Then Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) arrive on schedule, checking on the infant while Billy withdraws uncomfortably.
They present an outfit from the Athletic Club, an odd selection given the baby’s promised designer wardrobe.
Billy welcomes them warmly, surprising Adam with a handshake and genuine gratitude.
Sally mentions Jill’s uncertain condition, and Adam and Chelsea express sympathy.
After confirming that mother and baby are healthy, Sally thanks Adam once more.
Victor Gives Nick Bad News About Jill
At the ranch, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) shows up just as Victor finishes a call with Snapper Foster.
Victor delivers troubling news to his son: Jill has suffered a heart attack, and her condition is critical.
Though Victor and Jill have clashed repeatedly throughout the years, he’s always held her in high regard.
Nick reassures his father by pointing out that Jill has weathered as many dangerous situations as Victor has, and Victor is still here.
It’s reassurance delivered by someone who understands the weight of those words.
Victor Has Questions About Matt
The conversation turns to Matt.
Nick discloses that he found Matt at Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) house, where Matt’s former personality seemed to be emerging.
Sharon felt afraid, and Matt had an emotional breakdown.
He asked Sharon to act as his therapist.
Victor doubts whether Matt has truly deteriorated or is merely pretending.
Yet, he believes Matt represents a genuine danger and intends to confront him.
Nick states that Matt admitted himself to a psychiatric hospital, which Nick drove him to.
Victor finds this troubling.
With Matt’s increasingly dangerous behavior raising concerns, Victor clearly isn’t ready to trust him.
Adam Was Struggling
At the Athletic Club, Chelsea notices Adam is struggling.
He confesses that last night was overwhelming, and she encourages him to express what he’s feeling.
Words fail him. He’s genuinely uncertain.
She guides him to the lounge and insists he open up, so he rattles off his emotions like a checklist.
He’s reluctant to burden her, yet she’s determined to help him process everything, and he grows visibly flustered.
Later, at the bar, Adam reveals his internal battle.
He kept pressuring himself to do everything perfectly so Sally wouldn’t experience another miscarriage.
Chelsea Points Out He Delivered A Healthy Baby
Chelsea points out that he delivered a healthy baby and that Sally must feel grateful.
While he’s relieved everything turned out well, holding the newborn flooded him with happiness until thoughts of Ava surfaced.
Chelsea asks what would help ease his pain, and he responds that simply being heard was therapeutic.
He wants to visit Sally and the baby, and he’s taken aback by Chelsea’s support and expresses his gratitude.
She believes Billy might actually be pleased the baby arrived safely, since Adam and Sally share an unbreakable bond.
Adam invites her to join him.
Victoria And Nikki Catch Up
At Society, Victoria and Nikki enjoy quiche and catch up on wedding news when Victoria tells her mom that Adam helped deliver Sally’s baby.
Nikki is taken aback, prompting Victoria to walk through the entire story.
Nikki doubts Billy was thrilled about it.
“Poor Adam,” she sighs sympathetically.
Both women empathize with him, welcoming a baby girl after experiencing such a devastating loss.
Nikki inquires about Victoria’s feelings regarding her former partner’s upcoming marriage and new arrival.
Victoria explains that their shared history belongs to the distant past and they’ve both moved forward.
She reminds her mom about Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and believes Sally is an ideal match for Billy.
Nikki Worries Billy Will Fail Again, Then Sees Photos Of Baby Ruby
Nikki worries he’ll fail again, and when she checks her messages, she finds photos of baby Ruby.
She recognizes Victoria’s lingering grief and hopes she’ll find peace.
Victoria insists she’s content now, perhaps eventually, she suggests with the assurance of someone whose phone hasn’t stopped ringing.
Victor arrives and reports that Jill’s condition is deteriorating.
Nikki notes Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) is heading to London and expresses confidence that Jill will recover.
Victoria suggests informing Esther Valentine (Kate Linder).
Victor instructs his daughter to travel to London and close a business deal.
Then, learning about Sally’s baby and Adam’s role in the delivery, he responds, “I’ll be damned.”
After Victoria departs, Victor tells Nikki their daughter has regained her footing following her recent disappearance and nearly missed appointment.
Meanwhile, outside, Victoria texts “Boris,” proposing a London meeting.
Annemarie’s Take
I have to say, Sally handled the situation with Billy and Adam better than I expected.
Billy could have made a huge scene about Adam delivering his daughter, but instead, he actually shook his hand and thanked him. That’s not something we see every day!
And Adam’s emotional reaction was heartbreaking. Holding Ruby brought back memories of Ava, and I thought Chelsea did a good job helping him talk through those feelings.
As for Victor, I don’t blame him for being suspicious of Matt. There’s something about that situation that just doesn’t sit right.
But Victoria texting “Boris” about a London rendezvous? Now that’s asking for trouble!
What surprised you most: Billy thanking Adam, Victor’s suspicions about Matt, or Victoria’s secret London plans?
