Nate Gets Encouraging News

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) offers to accompany Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to remove his bandages, but he declines, suggesting it won’t help her anxiety about test results.

Lily mentions lunch with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) provided some distraction and wonders if Devon Winters (Bryton James)  disapproves.

Nate reveals Devon actually thinks Lily should inform Cane about her potential cancer recurrence. Shocked, Lily interprets this as a sign of Devon’s deep concern and resists worrying Cane similarly.

Nate counters that Cane deserves to know.

Stephanie Arrives

Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) arrives, optimistic about Nate’s surgical return. After Stephanie leaves to place an order, Nate expresses interest in staying at Winters.

Upon her return, Lily urges him not to abandon surgery before giving it a real chance and demands Stephanie’s support.

Stephanie reminds Nate it’s time for his appointment; Devon intercepts him at the door, noting his departure. Nate clarifies he won’t be ready to operate tonight regardless of the outcome and exits.

Devon Sits Down And Talks To Stephanie

Devon sits down and gives Stephanie a pointed look, asking if she has news Nate failed to mention; Lily cuts to the chase: are they together?

Stephanie deflects by questioning why they’re asking if they already know-Devon confirms it’s a yes.

Stephanie acknowledges it’s very recent.; Devon and Lily respond enthusiastically, impressed that Stephanie convinced Nate to consider returning to medicine and found a viable path forward.

Relieved by their positive reaction, Stephanie admits she wasn’t sure what to expect. Devon then asks if Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) knows-she hesitates-that’s complicated.

A text arrives on Victor’s phone from Nikki, who reports speaking with Nick and confirms he’s doing well; Nikki remains skeptical and intends to investigate further.

Cane enters, and Phyllis welcomes him while boasting about having two of her biggest admirers present.

Cane questions the “fan” label, so Phyllis clarifies she means two men she’s conducted business with.

Victor asks Cane how it feels knowing Phyllis outmaneuvered him-Cane appears uncomfortable while Phyllis smirks.

Cane Says Successful Deals Leave All Parties Satisfied

Cane asserts that successful deals leave all parties satisfied; he’s pleased to focus entirely on Chancellor. Victor notes Cane now relies on support from his former spouse.

Phyllis dismisses his concerns, claiming her life is already a risk, and questions when Cane became so fearful, as across the room, Victor smiles and raises his glass.

Cane warns that Victor can’t tolerate anyone else’s success, yet Phyllis maintains she can manage any threat, claiming she has eyes in the back of her head.
