The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Newman And Adam Newman Have Had A Couple Of Very Tough Years
Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that it has been a couple of very tough years for Adam and Chelsea. Adam had been dealing with issues from his past that he’d pushed down into his subconscious, that had been driving his bad behavior for many years! Chelsea had tried to help him, but what Adam needed was way beyond her expertise.
It turned out that he had killed his childhood friend Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria Di Domenico) loan shark father when he was around twelve years old when he had come to the farmhouse in Kansas and threatened his blind mother, Hope Adams (Signy Coleman). Adam had blocked that whole thing out, and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had come to Kansas and helped cover it up.
Then, Chelsea went off the deep end! She had fallen while trying to climb out of an elevator in a building where Adam had cut off the electricity, and she was there in an effort to try to stop Adam from setting off a bomb in Newman Towers! She developed a brain aneurysm which burst the day before she, Adam and Connor were set to move to Kansas!
Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Newman Feels The Cry Of Connor Newman’s Heart To Be A Family Again
Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall how Chelsea and Adam reconciled – she had been involved with and living with Nick Newman, (Joshua Morrow) and Connor and Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) were living there as well. Connor started having behavioral problems and bullying Christian, who is younger, and wanted to live with Adam.
Y&R spoilers show Connor didn’t want a split custody deal where he lived with his dad and mom separately – and manipulated his parents into reconciliation. All signs point to Connor perhaps trying to do the same again, as he has repeatedly talked about wanting them to live together again as a family since Chelsea has returned to Genoa City.
As Connor and Chelsea wrap presents at Adam’s condo, which he has given Chelsea, she looks at a photo of the cottage in Kansas that they were going to live in and remembers buying it for them. She wistfully notes it used to match both her and Adam perfectly.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Newman Confesses To Adam Newman That She Still Loves Him
Y&R fans would not blame Adam for thinking if Chelsea loved him, she’d sure had a strange way of showing it! She had faked her paralysis and framed him for poisoning Rey Rosales, (Jordi Vilasuso), being insanely jealous over any contact at all that Adam had with Sharon Rosales, (Sharon Case) who he had indeed been obsessed with for years. After much therapy Chelsea came home, and Adam and Sharon had worked through their odd relationship, which turned out to be more of a codependent circle of trying to fix each other!

Even Sharon, with her training in psychology and therapy had failed to realize that but once she did and Adam realized it as well, they were able to break away from their unhealthy relationship. Adam has changed – and for the better. Now that Adam is more of the man that Chelsea believed he could be, she wants him back! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Chelsea admit to Adam she still loves him – but will she be able to convince him to try again to make their relationship work?
