Y&R Spoilers: Tucker’s Desperate Request – Devon Asked To Buy Debt?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has been attempting to save his company since he returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin. It may have been longer than that.

Tucker was trying to avoid losing his grip until he learned that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was circling. So, the found of McCall Unlimited thought he would kill two soapy birds with one stone.

But Victoria could not take Tucker’s offer to buy him out because Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) had already swooped in. He did not anticipate that bird of prey coming because of the romanticized backstory created about Ashley in his head.

Ashley is being honest by saying she will not acquire his debt and easy road, but she was not in the recent past. Her tell to Tucker, about conning him into believing he had a chance at reconciliation with him, was disproven during a moment when only the audience witnessed Ashley’s reaction shot.

Devoted fans recall Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) stormed into his father’s suite at the Grand Phoenix and said they were done. That happened after Devon determined Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was a mole at Chancellor-Winters.

Ashley was taken aback by Devon’s reveal and used that humiliation as her out. She feared being hurt and was trying to prevent becoming Tucker’s next or renewed victim.

Devon was similar to Ashley, though not to the same degree. Like Tucker’s ex-wife, Devon wanted to give him a chance.

However, Devon entered his renewed acquaintance with his biological father with far less angst than Ashley. Davidson’s character was betrayed by Tucker, who cheated on her with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) years ago.

So, Devon giving Tucker a half-hour to talk at Crimson Lights is noteworthy because he did not have to give him any time. Tucker’s teased pitch involves another nuanced attempt to form a business partnership.

Tucker wanted to reconnect with Ashley and Devon. If Devon happens to accept an assumed offer to take some or all of the debt Ashley purchased, Tucker will realize an unexpected version of his goal.

But Ashley shows no desire to give Tucker a romantic chance. As for Devon, he could accept Chancellor-Winters’ buyout offer and use that financial gain to buy what was McCall Unlimited.

However, even if Ashley retains part of McCall Unlimited and Devon becomes an owner, that does not mean either person would be open to Tucker on Y&R.
