The second season of the show was something that die hard fans were looking forward to. Filming for the new season was supposed to start in early June, but now that the writer’s strike is still pushing on, there is going to be a delay. In fact, the production team has said that the show has been “delayed indefinitely.”

As the writer’s strike continues on, Paramount+’s production team is pretty much on hold as well. The filming of the new season of 1923 was scheduled for June 5 and many of the scenes were to be filmed in the Butte Civic Center.

Paramount is paying $75,000 a month in order to use the facility for the television show, but what is going to happen if the writers continue to strike? There are a lot of unanswered questions when it comes to the new season and fans really want to know what is next.

Taylor Sheridan, who created the show, has admitted that he would like to see eight seasons of 1923 on the air. However, Paramount+ has only confirmed the second season as of right now and this makes fans happy to see Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren again. However, with the strike, when will we see them?

1923’s Story

1923 is a spin off of Yellowstone for fans of the original, 1923 will teach them more about the history of the Dutton family. Ford stars as Jacob Dutton and Mirren is Cara. The show takes place during the time of pandemics, poverty, and droughts.

There is also a focus on the end of Prohibition and how the west made it through these rough times. Of course, fans want more of 1923, but as of right now, it does look as if there is no set date for filming.
