Blake Shelton Fuels The Voice Feud With Ariana Grande And Other Coaches!

The popular prime-time TV singing competition currently bears the name of “The Voice.” But if Blake Shelton could choose a new name, we’re betting this country music superstar/The Voice coach would change it to something like “Blake Shelton’s The Voice.” And we’ve got good reasons for that feeling. 

For instance, Shelton has become famed for feuding with not just one of the other “Voice” coaches.  Blake enjoys teasing, taunting, and even tormenting ALL of the other celebrity singers on “his” show! 

As a result, some think Shelton delights in feuding with his co-stars.  Just check out some examples below.

The current coach line-up on The Voice includes Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Ariana Grande, and Blake Shelton. 

But only Blake has taken it upon himself to throw shade at his colleagues, pointed out Heavy.  For instance, on Late Night With Seth Myers, Shelton recently mocked the other Voice coaches. 

“Ariana (Grande) is a super talented, very sweet human being,” began Blake on a positive note.

But then came the zinger.“My feeling is she’s gonna suck as a coach,” added the country music superstar of the famous pop singer. As a result of Kelly and Blake sharing a focus on country music, some might assume Shelton would go easier on Clarkson. Wrong.

“Kelly Clarkson…it’s kind of fizzled out, you know? There’s too much Kelly on TV. I joke that NBC is nothing but Clarkson. People are tired of her,” claimed Shelton.

And he even mocked her talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” As a result of that popular show, “people are sick and tired of [Kelly Clarkson],” insisted Blake.  Okay, so since Shelton and John both have years of experience, perhaps Blake would go easier on Legend? Wrong again.

“And with John Legend, he’s just so high all the time. I don’t even know if he knows he’s on TV,” teased Blake.

As a result of all that shade, Shelton offered a prediction on which coach would win “The Voice” this season. “I feel like this year’s gonna be a gimme for me,” predicted the country music king.

But in an intriguing aside, Blake Shelton also revealed that his feud with Ariana Grande actually began even before she claimed one of those over-sized The Voice chairs for her own!

And apparently Blake actually feels easily wounded. Shelton recalled releasing his album, “If I’m Honest” in 2016. And the country music superstar felt hopeful about its success.

Blake shared that he phoned his record label prior to dropping the album about the possibility of debuting at the top spot on the charts. But Shelton got a rude awakening in response.

Unfortunately, Blake timed his album release to the exact same weekend that Ariana Grande dropped her album, “Dangerous Woman.”

As a result of Grande’s album timing, the record label dropped a bombshell on Shelton’s dreams.

“They were like, ‘Well you know Ariana Grande’s album comes out this week but you could get number two maybe,'” recalled Shelton.

And he got blunt in how he felt about that timing. Ariana Grande “took a dump on those dreams,” summed up Blake.  What do you think about Blake Shelton throwing shade at his fellow coaches on The Voice?
