Blue Bloods Spoilers: Jamie And Eddie Have Issues To Work On Before Thinking About A Baby

Blue Bloods:Jamie And Eddie Janko Reagan Blue Bloods spoilers tease that even though Blue Bloods seems to be dropping a lot of hints about Jamie and Eddie Janko Reagan (Will Estes, Vanessa Ray) having a baby, fans think they have some issues that should be worked out before taking that big step!

Blue Bloods Spoilers – Jamie And Eddie Reagan Often Do Not See Eye To Eye On Important Things

During the most recent episode, “For Whom The Bell Tolls”, fans noticed there was a lot of tension between Jamie and Eddie. Eddie had noticed Jamie was being particularly hard on an officer he was supervising, and the issues were that the officer was being late because his wife was having morning sickness. Jamie put him on foot patrol, which Eddie disagreed with. Eddie tried to explain that the officer’s wife needed help in the morning and he had to leave for work late because of helping her.

Jamie didn’t seem to be listening to anything Eddie was saying in trying to advocate for the expectant father. Eddie grew a bit irritated that Jamie didn’t seem to have any sympathy for the couple, which of course was taken as a hint by viewers that she herself might be expecting. Jamie maintained that the officer should have developed a backup plan so he could get to work on time, maybe calling in a relative or a friend. Then he asked if Eddie had anything else to say about it and she, feeling defeated, just said “No, sergeant!” Jamie just didn’t seem to have an open mind, and that certainly could cause problems between the two of them if she were the one with morning sickness and not being able to get to work on time or causing him to be late because of helping her!

Blue Bloods Spoilers – Eddie Janko Reagan Wants A Baby But Jamie Reagan Doesn’t Seem Ready To Be A Father

Eddie wants a baby, but Jamie doesn’t really seem ready to be a father based on his actions concerning his expectant father employee! Eddie and Jamie also clashed heavily in a season ten episode called “Bones To Pick” when Eddie had a “honey do list’ for Jamie. She wanted him to do a few personal things for her, but Jamie wasn’t thrilled about it. The list was annoying to Jamie and he kept procrastinating about the things she had on it for him to do. Jamie really doesn’t like being told what to do by his wife, and it sounds like based on his reactions to the expectant father’s being late to work, he wouldn’t respond well to Eddie if she needed his help but it would be inconvenient for him! As far as the officer being late because of helping his wife, Jamie just didn’t get it.

Eddie felt Jamie was being quite insensitive and that he had a marked lack of empathy for the officer’s situation. Eddie felt Jamie needed to show some leniency, but Jamie disagreed. Jamie’s point was if he showed this officer special treatment that others would start coming in late with other excuses and the situation would get out of hand, although in this case he did eventually come around and reverse his punitive actions against the officer. Eddie was supersensitive to the officer and his expectant wife’s situations, and it could be she is pregnant and hasn’t told Jamie yet because of his attitude. Or, she could be pregnant soon and the scriptwriters are dropping hints. Either way, Jamie and Eddie need to straighten out some of their communication issues before bringing a new baby into the mix!
