Boston Blue Spinoff Adds TWO More Blue Bloods Cast Members!

The Boston Blue premiere is getting closer and closer and more details are now available on the highly anticipated spinoff. 

Fans know that Donnie Wahlberg is leading the new show, but spoilers say the network has added two more popular Blue Bloods stars to the cast!  Keep reading to find out all the details!  Warning, TV spoilers ahead…

When CBS announced that they were pulling the plug on Blue Bloods after over a decade, fans of the Reagan Family were devastated. 

However, there was a silver lining.  Fan fave Danny Reagan (Wahlberg) is getting his own spinoff!  Boston Blue will follow Danny to Boston where he will join the police force and get tied up with a prominent Boston cop family.

According to all new Boston Blue spoilers, the spinoff has added two more cast members from the original series.  Bridget Moynihan will visit Boston for a few episodes and check in on her brother. 

It’s unclear if she’s there on official police business or family business.  Moynihan plays the part of Danny’s Reagan’s sister Erin Reagan. 

Wahlberg shared a photo of himself and his “TV sister” on Instagram and teased that she will appear in the premiere of Boston Blue on October 17, 2025.  

Who Is Playing Sean Reagan?

Erin Reagan isn’t the only member of Danny’s family that will appear on the new show.  Spoilers say Danny’s son Sean is now living in Boston and a member of the police force. 

Wahlberg’s character has decided to relocate to Boston and transfer to the new police force so that he can be closer to his son. 

Sean Reagan may be unrecognizable to seasoned fans, on the spinoff the part will be played by a new actor, Mika Amonsen.
