Season 2 of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” gives Chrisley Knows Best alum Savannah Chrisley, 25, and Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval, 40, the chance to prove themselves in a new environment. Savannah has struggled since her parents Julie and Todd Chrisley’s imprisonment. And Sandoval faced a backlash after he cheated on his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix, noted People.

But how will the reality TV stars fare when they face off in “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” against athletes? The cast’s athletes include former NFL player Dez Bryant, former NBA champion Robert Horry, Olympic gold medalist speed skater Erin Jackson, and Olympic skier Bode Miller. However, other reality TV stars compete in the second season of the TV show as well. For instance, the cast includes The Osbournes’ Jack Osbourne, actress Tara Reid, Bob Saget’s widow Kelly Rizzo, social media influencer JoJo Siwa and former Bachelor Nick Viall.

And the environment for “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” will make the entire cast feel a long way from their everyday worlds. For example, Fox TV producers exposed the cast to “the harsh reality of winter warfare training on the mountains of New Zealand. The terrain and freezing temperatures are brutal. And the tasks will feel like torture.” And challenges include an ice breaker drill. During that test, the cast gets submerged in a frozen lake. And they also must try to cross a dangerous ravine on the top of a 4700-ft snowy mountain peak.

But it doesn’t end with a dunking in a lake and an attempt to get across a ravine on a mountain top. The network also arranged for the competitors to try an “emergency escape out of a helicopter submerged deep in icy waters.” And producers noted, “There are no votes, and no eliminations.” As a result, “just survival” becomes the key in the second season of the series.

Spoilers for the second season reveal Reid warning, “People want to underestimate me. But I’m a lot stronger than people think.” And Sandoval suffers a bloody nose as he discusses getting “punished.” Tom’s appearance in the Fox military training series comes amid continuing headlines for his affair with Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss. And after the backlash for betraying his girlfriend Ariana Madix, Tom stepped out of the public spotlight.

Meanwhile, Savannah Chrisley discussed her appearance on the show. And she shared that she had begun “recuperating from my trip that was outrageous. And I did not get paid enough for the s— that I did. I can’t talk about what exactly it was that I did,” added the Chrisley Knows Best alum. “But let’s just say, the world is going to get to see me puking for a solid 2 minutes on national television. It’s not good,” she added.
