Dexter news reveals that the revival series of Dexter is getting closer each day and because of this many fans are rewatching the old epi’s to get caught up. They are also getting something else after watching the shows, frustrated at the show ending.
The series finale was controversial and the second time around opinion hasn’t changed much.
Many fans were unhappy that Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) was dead and Dexter (Michael C. Hall) was living his best life as a–lumberjack? After eight seasons fans expected something else, something more from such a scintillating show.

Hall himself is in touch with fan disappointment to the finale. According to him, the new limited series could right some wrongs.
“It’s been gratifying and I think the show ended in a way that was pretty mystifying at best if not infuriating for people, but that at least set the stage for us to return and answer more definitively what the hell happened to this guy,” Hall told Phil Williams on Times Radio (H/T Digital Spy).
“I totally support what happened, the choice he makes at the end, but as far as the execution goes, we were all running on vapor at that point, so I get it.”

Hall made his feelings now prior to his latest statement. Showrunner Clyde Phillips told Us Weekly that, “Michael was certainly aware that the ending wasn’t well-received. I believe that he was not completely satisfied with it. This is an opportunity to make [the ending] right, but that’s not why we’re doing it. We’re doing this because there is such a hunger for Dexter out there.”

Dexter News – Will A Wrong Finally Be Righted?
There is no doubt that fans are on the edge of their seats waiting to see Dexter again. But Hall admits that even he himself is not sure exactly what he should expect.
“I’ve never returned to a job after so much time,” he told NME. “Having Dexter in a completely different context, we’ll see how that feels. It’s been interesting to figure out how to do that, and I thought it was time to find out what the hell happened to him.“
He went on to say that the 10-part limited series might not exactly be the end of the road for the show. “I’m reluctant to say ‘definitely,’ you know? Let’s see. What’s plain now is that there’s 10 new episodes.”
