Dexter spoilers and updates tease that the upcoming revival of the hit Showtime TV series may feature an actor from the original American crime drama TV.
The website Dexter Daily reported that C.S. Lee, who played Vince Masuka, was spotted on a set with showrunner Clyde Phillips, sharing a snap from the actor’s Instagram account where Phillips can be seen.
Dexter Revival – Lee’s Intriguing Instagram Post
Lee has not confirmed nor denied if he’s joining the cast of the show’s revival. Rumors started to circulate that he’s joining the new series after he shared an Instagram post with a picture of a knife and a caption that read, “Exciting things about to happen. #whereisdexter #darkpassenger.” But the actor said that his post was taken out of context.
Dexter Revival – Lee As Vince Masuka
Fans may recall that Lee played the role of Vince Masuka, who was a forensic specialist in the Miami Metro Police Department. He’s one of Dexter’s friends back then. If the rumors are true, nobody knows what role he’ll play and how he’ll fit in the new story. As for now, fans will just have to wait and see.
Dexter Revival – Living In A New City
Dexter revival is set to premiere in the fall of 2021 and will have 10 episodes. Based on its teaser trailer, Dexter is living a new life as Jim Lindsay in Iron Lake, New York, ten years after the events that took place in the original series. He may be one of Miami’s notorious killers, but in Iron Lake, he’s a guy that’s well-liked by the residents.
Showrunner Clyde Phillips hinted that Dexter’s “dark passenger” will continue to be a problem even if he tries to change his ways and live a new life.

Michael C. Hall, who plays Dexter, teased that his character is “in a different place leading a different life surrounded by different people.” The actor hinted that Dexter’s life is “completely recontextualized” following the events that happened in Miami.
In an interview back in June, Hall said that they still had five more weeks to go for filming.
“I think the whole shoot would have taken five months. It’s basically like we’re filming it as a 10-hour movie,” he explained. It’s expected to premiere in the US on November 7.
