Dexter Season 9 Spoilers: First Look At Revival, Goal Is To Right The Wrongs Of Finale

Dexter SDexter season 9 spoilers reveal that the revival is reportedly supposed to right the wrongs that took place in the finale. Well, the day has finally arrived when we can get the very first look at what’s coming up. The first photo has been released. Keep reading to get the details.

Sizzle Reel Was Impressive

Dexter season 9 spoilers reveal that a sizzle reel of the revival was unveiled to investors. Viacom only released a quick glance, but it was enough to get people excited. Michael C. Hall is back as Dexter Morgan, of course.

Dexter Season 9 Spoilers: First Photo Of Revival

In the photo, Dexter is standing in front of a window staring into the lens of the camera. His expression on his face is ominous and the lighting only accentuates that. All around his body frame is darkness. However, there is the moonlight that is beaming through the windowpane, which has a semi-sheer white curtain.

Dexter Morgan’s Noticeable Changes

Dexter season 9 spoilers reveal that the only noticeable changes with the main character include his hair. It’s much shorter than viewers may remember. He also looks a bit older in the face. Now, it’s not known if that couldn’t be helped or if special effects intentionally are making him look older for the revival.

Dexter Revival: Quick Refresher

The last time the show aired, Dexter’s sister died and he was grieving. He allowed his son to go with his girlfriend, Hannah McKay (Yvonne Strahovski). They left the country and then Dexter took the steps to fake his death. Dexter appeared to have a brand new life in Oregon and was employed as a lumberjack.

Michael C. Hall: Right The Wrongs Of Finale

The last episode was brutally criticized by fans. They were so passionate and upset by the ending that Hall explained the revival could right the wrongs of the finale. He also talked to ComicBook.com about season 9. He said,

“I’m looking forward to getting back into Dexter’s shoes. I don’t really know what to expect, as I’ve never returned to a job after so much time. Having Dexter in a completely different context, we’ll see how that feels. It’s been interesting to figure out how to do that and I thought it was time to find out what the hell happened to him.”

What do you think about the revival supposedly right the wrongs that happened in the finale? What would you like to see happen that’s different and better than how the series ended? Dexter season 9 will air on Showtime sometime this year. When a date is announced, we will let you know.
