Fans of the Yellowstone series might not be seeing a familiar face in season 4 if news reaching us ring true. This is because news reaching us says that the star of the Yellowstone series, Josh Holloway is leaving the series to start work on another series.

Is Josh Holloway Leaving Yellowstone For Duster?

This is part of the contract signed by the star of the series Lost a while back. The contract will see him working with the reputed director, J.J. Abrams, on the upcoming series by HBO Max, Duster.

There is not much to go by about the Duster series, all that is said about the series storyline is that it revolves around the getaway driver for a crime syndicate on the rise, with his life taking a series of life-changing turns. The series is played out in the southwest with a dateline going back to the ’70s.

Well, this means there is a big question on the Lost star playing any further part in the Yellowstone series. That is not good news for fans of the Roarke Carter character.

Who Is Roarke Carter?

In season three of the Yellowstone series, Josh played in a recurring role of the character, businessman Roarke Carter. His character disaster the ancestral farmland of the Duttons family. The character has not been written out of the Yellowstone series yet, which means that the probability of him coming back in season 4 remains high. It is expected that he will reprise his scheming businessman role in the western series.

Josh was not expected to go the long haul in the series, but it won’t be bad to have him for one more season. Such is the acting prowess he brings to the drama series. The series is yet to get a renewal to run for a fifth season, which means Josh might not be offered a contract for a permanent role in the series.
