Law & Order: Dann Florek Returns To Organized Crime

Law & Order spoilers and updates tease that one of its fan favorite characters is returning. Dann Florek is set to reprise his role as Captain Donald Cragen, not in SVU, but in Law & Order: Organized Crime.
Viewers love Florek’s alter ego on Law & Order: SVU. He joined the franchise back in the early 1990s in the original show, titled Law & Order. He joined the cast of the spinoff, Law & Order: SVU in 1999, opposite lead stars, Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay. He stayed on the show until season 16.
Florek was last seen in 2013. Nine years later, the actor is reprising his role for the spinoff series Law & Order: Organized Crime. He’s expected to make his appearance alongside Meloni in the episode that’s set to air on April 7.
“When Donnelly’s (Denis Leary) version of events don’t match up to what Stabler remembers about his father’s heroic rescue on the job, Stabler turns to his friend and mentor Donald Cragen for help sorting out the truths from the lies,” as per the episode’s synopsis.
Fans are excited to see Florek back on screen once again as Captain Cragen.
Law & Order Spoilers – Sam Waterston Returns To Law & Order
Aside from Florek, another fan favorite returned to the franchise. Sam Waterston reprised his role as Jack McCoy on Law & Order.
The actor shared that he wondered whether he could or if it’s ok to go back to the show when he first learned about reprising his infamous role. He was curious. But when he saw the set and the story structure of each episode, his worries were wiped away. He also thanked Dick Wolfe for everything he has done. Waterston was also happy that he was able to help make his dream come true.

Law & Order Spoilers – Sam Waterston Appears On The Dropout
Aside from Law & Order, Waterston also appears on The Dropout. Hulu’s new miniseries tells the story of the controversial life of Elizabeth Holmes, which is portrayed by Amanda Seyfried.
Elizabeth was a college dropout who managed to build a massive company that focuses on blood testing. Her company was on the rise and enjoying success until the time when the world knew that she was a fraud.
Waterston knew about what happened to Theranos. He revealed that among the reasons he joined the show was because he wanted to work with Seyfried and the extraordinary way that the story was written.
