Yellowstone News: Season 5, Episode 9 Return Date … Should Fans Expect An Expanded Story?

As Yellowstone fans gear up for Paramount to release Season 5, Episode 9, in November of this year, there’s so much to ponder. It’s been close to two years since Yellowstone has been off the air, so will viewers get a reward for their patience?

There’s one major hope that fans have when it comes to the Yellowstone Season 5, Episode 9 return show, and that’s the length (because everyone knows it matters!) In all seriousness, will viewers get an extended epi for the show’s big return?

It’s the first episode “back”, so it has to be extended in some way, right? There’s been speculation that the show could do this, in two ways: either Paramount releases episode 9 as a 90-minute show.

giving its fans an hour and a half of Yellowstone goodness to sink their teeth into, or there’s also the possibility that they break up the “return” extended episode into two shows, over the course of one night.

“Yellowstone” News – What Do Viewers Want?

As these are the last Yellowstone shows fans will be getting, ever (well, that is, until the spin-off rolls around), viewers want to stretch out these shows as much as possible, so the more Yellowstone the better.

If the length of Episode 9 is extended, audiences would probably want two shows, versus one long episode. However, beggars can’t be choosers, so Yellowstone fans will likely take whatever they can get (even if the return show isn’t extended in time).

Still, there is much else known about Yellowstone’s return at this point, other than the November 2024 timeline and that the episodes will likely appear on Sundays, and earlier in the month versus later. More information will probably be released at some point during the summer.
