“NCIS” star Wilmer Valderrama, who plays Agent Nicholas Torres dropped the bombshell announcement on his Instagram account on Monday (January 3), featuring a string of cast members both in the mother series and spin-off to meet at the said crossover episode.
Valderrama started the clip by revealing he’s coming off to Hawaii to shoot the crossover event and in a split-second actress Katrina Law, who plays Jessica Knight, appeared in the video and announced she’s coming too. “It’s going to be good being back on the island solving crimes,” she teased.
“NCIS:Hawaii’s” Lucy Tara actress Yasmine Al-Bustami said: “Ooh, the more the merrier” before it was cut to the main lead Vanessa Lachey, who stars as Jane Tennant, welcoming them: “Aloha, Wilmer and Katrina! Time to be the best host.”
Kate Whistler who plays Tori Anderson also chimed in saying that Wilmer and Katrina’s trip to the Aloha State “is gonna be fun” and Al-Bustami added: “Oh, it is absolutely gonna be great. Investigating together? Aw!” Jason Antoon’s portrayer Ernie Malik can’t also hide his excitement and Lachey ended the clip encouraging fans to mark their calendars on March 28.
It’s not the first time that the series made a crossover with one of its spinoffs having JAG‘s David James Elliott and Catherine Bell come to Los Angeles during their comeback in 2019 and 2020 as the series’ latest crossover event.
NCIS: Hawaii’s Spoilers – Tori Anderson Claims The Show’s Moral Code Is Its Success Factor
“NCIS: Hawaii” star Tori Anderson who plays Special Agent Kate Whistler from the Defense Intelligence Agency has recently talked with Looper and revealed that the show’s success, currently in its 19th season, all boils down to its moral code.
“It’s really well-written characters who want to leave the world a better place. It’s a team environment, and that’s such an amazing thing to bring in, especially on the islands of Hawaii, is this feeling of “ohana” [family], and that’s so important to the culture here,” she explained.
“I love the scenes where we’re all together because there’s no ego on this cast at all. So, when we all get in a room together, sometimes it’s hard to focus on the work because we all have so much fun together,” she said, referring to the “ohana” culture in the set.
Tori likened “NCIS” and “NCIS: Hawaii” to a great marriage with a “very exciting high-paced show, but with good three-dimensional characters.”
