NCIS Los Angeles – Nell Jones Opens Up To G.Callen

Fans have seen Nell open up to Field Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) about her frustrations in the previous episode. The interim manager also had a serious conversation with Agent G. Callen (Chris O’Donnell). She explained how pressured she felt when she took over Hetty’s job while she’s out. She’s struggling with her new responsibilities and thinks she can’t fill in Hetty’s shoes. She’s even unsure if she can handle the role once she’s asked to take on the job for good.

In a heartbreaking confession, Nell told Callen “I just wish I know what she saw in me. Or, if I was her only option.” How long will her insecurities continue? Will she finally realize that she has what it takes?

One viewer said, “OMG!!! That last comment of Nell’s, where she’s questioning why Hetty left ‘HER’ in charge, and then her line of thought leads her to believe that Hetty simply had no other options to choose from.”

Will Nell Jones Step Down As Interim Manager?

Nobody knows where Hetty is as of the moment and she had to make a quick decision as to who would replace her while she was away. Hetty’s portrayer, Linda Hunt isn’t returning to the set anytime soon because of the coronavirus pandemic, which explains the character’s absence from the show.

NCIS Los Angeles – When Will Hetty Lange Return?

“NCIS: Los Angeles” is currently on its twelfth season and is nearing its finale. Nell may decide to step down and ask someone else to take the job. Some fans believe that Callen is a more appropriate choice. However, he’s been busy looking for Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) and if he fills Hetty’s shoes, his attention will be divided between being the head of the team and looking for his missing girlfriend.

Another viewer commented, “That is gonna cut Callen to the core. He’s gonna feel so much guilt for not stepping up to the task when Hetty needed him to.”

There’s no confirmation if Hetty’s exit is permanent. She may or may not return when the current season ends. But it’s still possible for her to make a comeback once the next season premieres.
