NCIS Season 18 Episode 12 Spoilers: Team Hunting Torres’ Dad – Gibbs Helps Out & More

NCIS spoilers tease that in the next NCIS episode, “Sangre” which airs April 20, Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) will meet his father, Miguel Torres (Steven Bauer) who left when he was just a child because of evidence from the stabbing of a marine sergeant.

NCIS Spoilers – Special Agent Nick Torres Finds Out The Suspect Is His Father

The preview begins with Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) tackling a person of interest in a hallway as Torres, several feet away, shouts “NCIS” and to freeze, with his gun drawn. In a bathroom, McGee and Special Agent Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop (Emily Wickersham) find a body on the floor in front of the bathtub. A scene runs with McGee finding a possible killer outside, who appears to be chopping wood – or is he an axe murderer? – and holds a gun on him. The victim appears to have bled out inside, as McGee asks her if she found a murder weapon.

She says no, but she did find some hair, and when they get back to the squad room she has Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines (Diona Reasonover) run it for DNA. Kasie informs Medical Examiner Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) and Torres that she found a familial match. Torres asks if it was a relative of his – she confirms it was.

Back to the clearing, a man with a rifle knocks another man down with the rifle, and then he comes running down a hill with his rifle drawn! Kasie brings up the computer and shows Jimmy and Torres the match – it is his father, Miguel, who he has not seen since he was a child! Other spoilers reveal that Torres is so troubled by the revelation that they are hunting down his father as a suspect, he will reach out to the suspended leader of his team, Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon).

NCIS Spoilers – Leroy Jethro Gibbs Gets A Couple Of Visits

Both McGee and Torres visit Gibbs to talk about the case, and Torres has a file with him. Gibbs seems to be in a more fatherly mode to Torres, and they talk about Torres’ childhood and Miguel. Later on in the episode Miguel and Nick will reunite after evidence from the stabbing, the hair previously mentioned, leads to Miguel. They appear to be in Gibbs’ living room sharing a meal of steak.

McGee talks to Gibbs in his basement where Gibbs is again working on another boat, and since McGee was the one investigating when the Marine’s body was found, he may feel a bit responsible for Torres’ shocking reunion with his father on an official basis! As a father of two small children, McGee may be asking Gibbs for some fatherly advice also, as to how to deal with Torres while they cannot avoid his involvement in the case.

This reconciliation with his father which might involve his father going down for murder has to be tough for Torres, and McGee might want to help Torres deal with the situation. Also, Mark Harmon’s real life wife, Pam Dawber will make another appearance as investigative reporter Marcie Warren. It is unclear where she will fit into the episode, but you have to admit a story on a father and son reunion like that would be compelling reading!
