NCIS Spoilers: Katrina Law Joins Cast

NCIS has added a familiar face to the cast. A little over a year after Hawaii Five-O came to a memorable end, actress Katrina Law is set to become a cast member of the NCIS series in a permanent role.

This comes after she joined the series as a recurring character, Special Agent Jessica Knight, in season eighteen. However, the producers of the series are yet to announce the renewing of her contract as a permanent cast as it solely depends on there been season nineteen of NCIS.

NCIS is a CBS series created by producer Donald Bellisario and is jointly produced by his company, Belisarius Productions, and CBS Studios. Other cast members of the successful franchise include Sean Murray, Mark Harmon, Rocky Carroll, Wilmer Valderrama, Diona Reasonover, Emily Wickersham, David McCallum, and Brian Dietzen.

NCIS  News – Who Is Jessica Knight?

Katrina Law will play the character of Special Agent Jessica Knight of the NCIS REACT unit, who is known for her specialty in negotiating the safety of hostages during hostage situations, in the last two episodes of season eighteen. Quite a persona right?

Jessica Knight comes from a background where she is brought up by a single mother, which has shaped her intense personality to a large extent. She is married to a husband who works from home and raises their son. The personality of Jessica is depicted as a tough lady with a sense of humor, athletic, strong but with a sharp intellect. She is seen as determined to reach her goals no matter the cost, which makes her good at her job.

Law joins the NCIS just after actress Maria Bello left the series as her character for three seasons, forensic psychologist Jack Sloane, was written out of the series after an episode on the 2nd of March.

NCIS  News – Other Works Of Katrina Law

Katrina Law joined the NCIS cast in season eighteen after starring in different roles in other TV series that are well known. She played the role of Karen Beach in The Oath, a recurring role in the series Training Day by CBS, and the character of Nyssa Al Ghul in the series Arrow by CW. She also played the character of Mira in two episodes of the epic Roman series by Starz, Spartacus. Her most recent work was in Hawaii Five-O where she played the role of Quinn Lue. So she knows her way around the world of TV series.

New episodes of the eighteenth season of NCIS will be aired on Tuesdays on CBS Television. Fans will recall that NCIS: New Orleans, the successful spinoff of the franchise, will come to an end after this seventh season. However, a Hawaiian version of NCIS is in the early stages of development.
