NCIS Star Paulette Perrette Struggles With The Pain Of Loss

NCIS started off with some characters that moved along. It always seems terribly stressful when beloved characters leave long-running shows. Well, when Paulette Perrette left, and she took the character Abby Scuito with her, fans felt terribly sad.  People loved her dynamic with the likes of Jethro Gibbs, Anthony DiNozzo, and Dr. Donald Mallard. Well, that took place in 2018, but fans still follow the successful actress on social media. Right now, she struggles with loss and fans reach out and comfort her.

These days, fans see a lot of spinoffs and the franchise remains popular on CBS. Actually, other actresses came along that also won the affection of fans. Hawai,  for example, brought in Vanessa Lachey who became the first female lead actress on the show. Right now, the series undergoes a bit of a hiatus, but it always returns and as fans still love the crime story series, it’s probably not going anywhere soon.

NCIS fans do fear that the original show will come to an end without Sgent Lery Gibbs. Mark Harman played the role for years and then he only stayed on after he heard that the show might be canceled without him. So, he appeared some more. However, his appearances dwindle, and he took a break. Perhaps fans become used to Leroy’s absence as he went off to Alaska and remained there. Still, when the day comes, fans will probably be as sad as when they heard about Paulette Perrette’s exit.

NCIS News – Alum Paulette Perrette Lots Her Dad, Feels The Loss very Much

Paulette lost her dad who apparently passed away from COVUD19. She always called herself a daddy’s girl and took it terribly hard. Well, that happened earlier, but the pain doesn’t seem to ease for her. On All Saint’s Day, she posted about it again. On Twitter, she sounded devasted. Her tweet read, “It was #AllSaintsDay at church today. So much loss in the last year, it’s almost unbearable. Lit candles for all those we are remembering. That one was for Dad. All blessings to all who are hurting. And the holidays are so hard, look after each other.”

It’s not the first time that NCIS star lamented the passing of her day. On Father’s Day, she posted about how she was experiencing the first one without her dad. Naturally, fans turned out this week to support her. After all, a lot of people experienced the pain of loss during the pandemic. One fan replied in the comments, “I have always thought it such a beautiful tradition of remembrance and also to show that our loved one’s light still burns bright. Sending comforting thoughts to all whose pain is acute from recent loss. Take care and be good to yourself, sweet lady.”
