The Yellowstone Season 4, Episode 5 title, ‘Under a Blanket Of Red’ – What Could It Mean?

As is usually the case, Paramount has yet to be forthcoming with information in advance of an episode, but we can attempt to suss it out from what we’ve seen thus far. The title itself, Under a Blanket of Red, is quite revealing in its own right.

The Yellowstone Season 4 – What Will Be Found ‘Under A Blanket Of Red?’

Fans may recall the attack on the Dutton family that occurred at the end of season 3 and assume that the title, Under a Blanket of Red and surmise that it’s painting a picture of blood and perhaps a war between the Duttons and whoever was behind the attack from season 3.

To us it is pretty cut and dry, someone wanted John, Beth, and Kayce Dutton out of the picture all together. Since Jamie managed to avoid any sort of violence fans have naturally wondered if it was Jamie who was behind the attack.

It became clear in the final episode of season 3 that Jamie Dutton had a pretty good reason to want John and his kids out of the way after discovering that he had been adopted all along. However, since the plan fell through, and each of them survived, the attack won’t be the last. Now the entire Dutton family must continue to keep eyes in the backs of their heads until the culprit or culprits are discovered.

The Yellowstone Season 4 – Will Beth Accept The Job Offer From Episode 4?

Viewers will recall that towards the end of episode 4 of Yellowstone Beth Dutton fired from Market Equities. Before this happened though, she was able to plant incriminating news reports which got the then CEO Willa Hayes (Karen Pittman) fired from her position.

Not long after that, Beth’s office was bombed. Fans quickly speculated that Willa Hayes could have had something to do with it. But, if that was the case, why were John and Kayce targeted as well?
