Who Plays Kayce Dutton On Yellowstone?

Yellowstone spoilers and updates reveals each of the Yellowstone characters fill powerful roles on the show, but Kayce Dutton seems to be the most intriguing of them all.

Kayce Dutton is a former Navy Seal who has seen his share of killing and, heartbreak and conflict seem to forever plague the character.

We see subtle signs throughout each episode that Kayce suffers from PTSD from his time as a Navy Seal and he carries it with the strength of his father in his eyes.

We also see him forever tormented by the many ghosts of those he has had to kill, even though, as we know, each person he has killed deserved it in some way – at least that’s what we’re led to believe.

But the often-violent character clearly has little aversion to killing as Rip Wheeler once said, Kayce “could get in trouble in a church.”

With such a believable portrayal of the tormented and violent character, it is only natural for us to wonder who it is that plays Kayce Dutton on Yellowstone so well.

Yellowstone – Kayce Dutton Not Likely To Die Soon

Viewers witness Kayce attacked by gunmen in season 3, along with the rest of the Dutton family, Jamie Dutton excluded.

Fans should never fear though because the Kayce Dutton character is as central to Yellowstone as is John Dutton.

Neither are likely to die anytime soon and the rumors of a fifth season that are swirling would only serve to confirm it.

Yellowstone – The Many Memorable Roles Of Luke Grimes

It’s probably difficult for many to place Luke Grimes, the actor that plays Kayce on Yellowstone, without his long hair, beard, and cowboy attire but the actor has actually appeared in several television shows as well as over a dozen movies.

You might recognize him from the ABC drama, Brothers and Sisters, his first role on television, where he portrayed a younger member of another very complicated family.

Luke Grimes is certainly no stranger to the role of cowboy having first portrayed one in the 2014 movie Outlaw Country a remarkable performance that landed him a later role as a vampire in the popular HBO series, True Blood.

Fans will probably remember the actor most for his portrayal of Elliot Grey in each installment of the Fifty Shades movies.
