In Monday’s episode, fans can also expect Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Christian Maddox aka Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) to be anxious. Shawn was blindsided when Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) claimed she was pregnant with Shawn’s baby.

Now that Shawn is getting used to taking care of a newborn, he has been blindsided once again. Evan claims he is the real father and both men will wait for the paternity test results.

Steve will give John a warning regarding Orpheus. Steve insists that they have to take drastic action against the villain. However, what does Steve propose that they do about it?

Speaking of Orpheus, he will approach Marlena with a surprising request. This might have to do with Evan and Shawn Christian Brady. Maybe Orpheus wants Marlena’s help to prove that Evan is fit to raise a child. Even if Evan is proven to be the father, he doesn’t exactly have a stellar record when it comes to doing what is best for a child.

Even though Jan was thrown into the water off the docks, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) knows the sociopath could return. That will be sooner rather than later. During the week of August 1, Jan comes back while Evan exits. So, we will have to see what happens with the baby. Fans can also look forward to seeing Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) show up in Salem.
