‘General Hospital’ Recap December 30: Jason Kisses Britt, Cody Brought NYE to Molly & Nathan And Lulu Bonded

General Hospital recaps for Tuesday, December 30 reveal Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) brought New Year’s Eve to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) when she had to work.

Plus, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) bonded, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) kissed Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Cody Brought New Year’s Eve To Molly

Cody set up a romantic scene at the Quartermaine stables for his date with Molly, but she had to cancel due to work.

A few barks from Outback prompted Cody to move the celebration to Molly’s office. Meanwhile, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) , and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) celebrated the new year at Trina’s apartment.

Trina wanted to avoid The Savoy to stay away from her parents, so Gio suggested they stay in. When Cody called Emma to watch Outback during the fireworks, she and Gio went to the Quartermaine stables. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Trina And Kai Stayed Home, Gio And Emma Doggysat, Cody And  Molly Made Fireworks

Trina and Kai changed into pajamas and had a quiet night at her place, talking about their hopes for 2026. She asked him to help her rehang a photo from their first date that she had taken down after their breakup.

Once Gio and Emma got to the stables, Cody rushed to the District Attorney’s office to surprise Molly, who was working in Justine Turner’s (Nazneen Contractor) office.  

After helping her finish a plea deal, they put on party hats and danced. When their kissing led to Molly unbuttoning Cody’s shirt, he pulled back, saying they couldn’t do that in her boss’s office; “Yes, we can,” Molly smirked. “It’s New Year’s.

Emma Asked Gio About His Violin

Back at Cody’s house, Emma mentioned the violin that Gio had received from his grandfathers and questioned whether he felt pressured to pursue music.

Gio admitted that there was a significant gap between who he once was and who he is today, and he was uncertain about which version of himself was connected to playing the violin.

He remarked that playing no longer felt the same as it once did, and he doubted it ever would again.

Offering him encouragement, Emma reassured her boyfriend that he would still be an amazing person, regardless of whether he reignited his love for music. Later, they stepped outside to enjoy the fireworks and shared a kiss beneath the starry sky.

Nathan And Lulu Bonded

As Nathan kept watch outside Lulu’s house, they connected over how they both had to rebuild their lives after losing time.

Lulu shared that her kids kept her grounded, but her relationship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) changed after he moved on with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) while she was in a coma.

Although she knew Dante would do anything for her and the kids, she wasn’t sure if she could still depend on him like before. When their talk shifted to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Lulu felt sure her best friend would wake up.

Nathan Wasn’t Sure How Maxie Would Feel About Him

Nathan admitted he was uncertain about how his wife/”widow” would feel about him or how they would fit into each other’s lives.

He knew she had built a life with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) while he was away. He didn’t want to assume Maxie would leave her family with Spinelli to start anew with him, even though he was her husband, Nathan said sadly.

Lulu promised to be a source of support for Nathan, no matter what, and they both listed things they were thankful for, including each other. Nathan and Lulu exchanged a meaningful glance just before the New Year’s Eve fireworks started, breaking the intense moment.

Curtis Dropped In On Jordan At Her Condo

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) visited Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) condo unexpectedly, wanting to celebrate New Year’s Eve with her instead of at The Savoy’s party.

Jordan admitted she also wanted to be with him but was unsure if she should step back after recent events. Curtis assured her he was committed to giving their relationship another chance, despite the drama with Portia Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and the possibility of a new baby being his. He expressed a wish that Jordan was the one he was expecting a baby with.

Curtis And Jordan Consummated Their Reconciled Relationship

Jordan reassured him she wasn’t going anywhere, and Curtis apologized for being tough during their marriage. He revealed he didn’t hire Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to kill Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) because he valued their future together.

They both declared their desire to be together. They then made love, consummating their reconciled relationship.

Later, Jordan expressed her worry about losing him again, especially if the baby was his. But Curtis promised he wanted her in his baby’s life, and they committed to making their reunion successful.

After Jack Left Carly’s, She Went To The Attic To Spend Time With Valentin

After Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) was called away for work, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) went to the attic to spend time with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

They drank the champagne Jack left behind, Valentin joking (in poor taste) about it being spiked with polonium.

Valentin asked if she was blurring lines by pretending to love her boyfriend, but Carly insisted her feelings were under control and she was focused on taking down Brennan to protect Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Valentin thanked Carly for bringing Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) to see him on Christmas Eve and recognized the tough spot she was in with Lulu.

Carly reminded him that if she got caught hiding him, she could go to prison, so it was crucial they succeed in taking down Jack.

Valentin And Carly Talked About How Valentin Saw His Future With Charlotte

When asked what he envisioned after Jack was jailed, Valentin said he wanted a life where Charlotte could be safe.  He also added  that he had no plans to take her away from Port Charles or her mother.

Carly admitted she didn’t trust him but believed he wanted what was best for Charlotte, which meant keeping her in town.

As fireworks lit up the Port Charles sky, Valentin thanked Carly again for bringing Charlotte to see him, saying he owed her and honored his debts. Joking about running a tab, Carly wished Valentin a Happy New Year before heading back downstairs.

Britt Showed Up At The Quartermaine Mansion To See Jason

Britt surprised Jason at the Quartermaine house, asking him to spend her birthday, which was also the anniversary of her ‘death,’ with her so she wouldn’t be alone. They argued about her keeping work from him, and Jason admitted he didn’t think he could be the company she needed that night. Trying to hide her hurt, Britt said she would find Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), which led Jason to confess he cared about her and wanted her to be okay.

“Do you really not see that?” he said softly, as Britt wiped her tears and got ready to leave. Britt called herself a train wreck and said it wasn’t his job to ensure she was okay.

As Jason fervently expressed his desire to assist, Britt pondered the notion that a genuine friend is someone who, despite their disapproval of nearly everything, still stands by your side. In that moment of reflection, she came to the realization that, amidst the turmoil of her life, the individual she yearned for the most was none other than Jason.

“When I’m in your presence, my life seems to lose its chaotic edge,” she softly murmured. With a tender touch, Jason cradled Britt’s face in his hands, extending heartfelt birthday wishes before planting a gentle kiss on her lips.
