Candace Cameron Bure has played the role of D. J. Tanner since her childhood days, and it is understandable that she is feeling pretty nostalgic about the TV show and the set, and it seems like she is not yet ready to let go of her character.
Revealing The Secret Instagram Account
Even though these days, the actress is kept busy filming a new movie Aurora Teagarden Mystery film, she still made time to share moments from the movie, also revealing a secret Instagram account that was made especially for the movie. It’s a testament to how much the show has grown, because as everyone should know, the original series aired long ago in the pre-Instagram days. And pre-Netflix, for anyone who likes to keep count.
From A Full House To A Fuller House
Full House was 21-years old when the first thirteen episodes of Fuller House were released worldwide on February 26, 2016. The cast stayed mostly the same, with the exception of Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate. The series was promptly met with mostly negative reviews, some critics stating that past the nostalgic effect the movie may have on fans, there was nothing great about it.
Despite the bad reviews, Netflix released season 2 of the series on December 9, 2016. The second season received mixed reviews, which was a definite improvement to the ones received by its first season.
The movie went on to be nominated and to win the Teen’s Choice Awards, People’s Choice Awards, and Kid’s Choice Awards. The fans of Fuller House love it for its humor and spirited show that’s full of love and happiness. After a bad day of dealing with the world, they see it as a balm that gets them laughing through their sad times.
Fuller House Throwback Post
On Wednesday, February 25, Candace Cameron took to Instagram to share images and contents from her Fuller House days. Most of it were shots and scenes that took place during season 5 of the show.
Netflix has announced that it would no longer be renewing the series for a sixth season, and fans are obviously displeased with this move. After Candace’s post sharing moments from the series, fans were enthusiastic to find out more news about the show, asking if there was a possibility for the show to run for one more season.
But Netflix seems to have really moved on from the show, and not even a possible cast get-together which got fans extremely excited, could change their minds.
