The latest behind-the-scenes photo of Michael Hall at the filming set has been circulating the media as it provides few important details of Dexter Morgan’s story arc in the upcoming season of Showtime’s “Dexter.”
The Dexter Daily blog has the analysis of the April 12 photo of Michael casually dressed and wearing double face masks adhering to the health protocols. Dexter’s observant fans have found important gems just by seeing a blurry, familiar logo on his green fleece vest.
Dexter Spoilers – A Different Job for A Living
Dexter had worked as a blood-spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police for the past eight whole seasons. The show’s controversial season 8 finale in 2013 showed Dexter faking his own death and disappearing into the Oregon wilderness to live a life of solitude as a lumberjack, leaving his family, friends, and job behind.
The latest scoop revealed he will be working with a different job in a shop called “Fred’s Fish & Game” in Iron Lake in Massachusetts. More photos also revealed the shop is between two more shops: a gun shop and “Click and Bait” which is a fishing and boating shop.
Although his position at the shop was not disclosed, it was known that the shop itself sells hardware tools, including shovels, wooden snow sleds, and other kinds of stuff like thermos and vests, which might come in handy should Dexter return to his murderous nature.
The clues connected to the new character scoop named Fred Jr. who is known as “hospitable” and is the heir of his father’s store. The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported last February that “Dexter” cast actor Michael Cyril Creighton to portray Fred.
The Dexter Daily blog also revealed that Michael Hall and Michael Creighton, both wearing the same vests, were recently seen near the shop in Shelburne, as confirmed by people around the set.
More faces are also expected to be in the show, including the veteran actor Clancy Brown as a brand new villain, Julia Jones as a Chief of Police, Alano Miller as a police sergeant, Jack Alcott as a mysterious guy, and more.

Dexter Spoilers – A Story Worth Telling
Hall had always been consistent with his answers to the possibility of playing Dexter again, saying he would only do it if it meets his criteria: “fresh, interesting, and worth doing.”
Yet, in his recent interview with The Daily Beast, the actor commented on the controversial ending. “Let’s be real: people found the way that shows left things pretty unsatisfying. And there’s always been a hope that a story would emerge that would be worth telling,” Hall said.
He admitted he is one of the people who wondered what happened to Dexter. “So I’m excited to step back into it. I’ve never had that experience of playing a character this many years on,” Hall added.
