Coronation Street Spoilers: Ackley Bridge Star Sam Retford As Emma’s Potential Romance

Coronation Street spoilers announced the casting of Ackley Bridge favorite Sam Retford to sweep Emma Brook off her feet.

Coming up next week on Coronation Street, Sam will arrive at the Cobbles as Curtis Delamere, a handsome young man who will offer help to Emma (Alexandra Mardell) in moving some barrels into the cellar at the Rovers. In what is seemingly a love at first sight, Emma enjoys having a drink with Curtis. Unfortunately, her father Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) isn’t impressed with the situation.

Curtis’ storyline appears to be both complicated and exciting when it is revealed that he bumps roads with Steve first. Steve realizes that Curtis is the ‘hooligan’ who knocked him off his bike in a recent incident that turned the odds against him in a charity fundraising event.

However, Steve’s hardened heart will be softened with his teenage daughter Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) when she suggests that Steve might be turning too obsessed with his fundraising and that he might be heading to another breakdown.

Coronation Street Spoilers – A Change of Heart

Realizing the weight of his daughter’s concern, Steve tells Emma he wants to be intentional in spending more time with his family, and in return, Emma suggests they could do some fundraising together which touched Steve’s heart.

Later episodes for next week will show Steve determined to make things right with Curtis after being bitter toward him. Steve meets with the newcomer to apologize for his behavior earlier.

Curtis reveals he is scheduled for a job interview at the Bistro and the father-daughter duo offered their help. Steve gives him few pointers before he and Emma conduct a mock interview for him. Curtis soon admits he’s training to be a doctor, leaving both Emma and Steve dazzled.

Not long, Curtis drops into the Rovers to share the good news that he has been offered the Bistro job.

Coronation Street Spoilers 0 Man Of Her Dreams

Days before the start of the year 2021, Corrie boss Iain MacLeod announced that Emma is “going to get the man of her dreams” as part of a massive storyline.

“There’s a massive new love story for Emma. Emma wants her prince charming and she’s going to get her to wish, but it’s going to be a very interesting version of her wish,” MacLeod previously told The Sun.

When it comes to falling in love, Emma has always been unlucky. She first fell for David Platt when she arrived on the cobbles. Next to her heart was Chesney Brown, who later revealed Gemma Winter was the right one for him. Emma had also shared a romance with the late Seb Franklin, but their story didn’t end well when his ex-lover Alina Pop returned.

“She has the best of both worlds now–sometimes she’s a comedy, sometimes it’s a tragedy,” Actress Alexandra said.

Corrie fans will have to discover yet if Curtis is the man who will make Emma happy or that he’ll be one of the previous guys to put a scar on her already scarred heart.
