General Hospital Spoilers: The Scoop On Nancy Lee Grahn’s Emmy Outfit

General Hospital stars walked the red carpet this past weekend as a precursor to the Daytime Emmys, which will be presented on CBS on Friday, June 25, 2021. Some portions of what you will see, like walking the red carpet, have been pre-recorded due to continued COVID safety protocols. One actress on the carpet, Nancy Lee Grahn, has told a great story about her Daytime Emmy glamour outfit.

General Hospital – Stars Show Their Glam Best

Photos from the red carpet walk have made their way onto Twitter and when Grahn saw they were out there, she pulled up another photo of herself from a Disney event from several years back. Remember, Disney owns ABC, so in turn that means it owns General Hospital, as well. Grahn points out that she is wearing the same exact blazer to the Emmys that she wore to that long ago Disney night.

“I see of pre #Emmy #redcarpet are out & Yes, I’m wearing same jacket I wore to this Disney event yrs ago & a pair of cheap beaded pants from Kate’s closet from her rock gig. I spent 0 $’s on clothes, hair & makeup & fashion police will be called & rightfully so.

“I did however donated 2k to @actblue to gain Senate seats & pass HR1, @Smiletrain for my mom born with cleft palate & to the #BobGrahnFoundation to give scholarships to teens willing to overcome addiction. All this worth getting understandably dragged by those in the know.”

GH Set To Shine

General Hospital received the most number of Emmy nominations in the performing categories this year. Grahn is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama series along with co-stars Genie Francis (Laura) and Finola Hughes (Anna). Jacqueline MacInnes Wood who plays Steffy on The Bold and the Beautiful and Melissa Claire Egan who plays Chelsea on The Young and the Restless are also nominated in the Lead Actress category.

Three GH stars are nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series — Steve Burton (Jason), Maurice Benard (Sonny) and Dominic Zamprogna (Dante). Others nominated for Lead Actor are Thorsten Kaye (Ridge, The Bold and the Beautiful) and Wally Kurth. He plays Ned on General Hospital but was nominated for his work as Justin on Days of Our Lives. The winners will be announced at 8 pm on Friday night on CBS.
