General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that in a possible leak, General Hospital viewers may be seeing Lulu Spencer on their television screens again. Rumors and a possible leak tease that showrunner and producer Frank Valentini is in talks with the popular actress to reprise her role.

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Emme Rylan As Lulu Spencer Departed The Canvas Several Months Ago

General Hospital viewers will remember that Emme, as Lulu, departed the General Hospital canvas several months ago. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) had set up Julian Jerome (William DeVry) to kill Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) by blowing up the Floating Rib. Julian left a backpack under a booth, then called Renault on a burner phone for further instructions. Julian didn’t know that was the trigger for the bomb, and several people were injured and killed. Lulu’s then fiancé, Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) was one who died, along with Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) who had found the backpack and tried to warn of it.

Among the injured were Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Lulu, although she didn’t realize how badly. She had a head injury and in the chapel of General Hospital she was trying to tell Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) she still loved him. She was able to barely whisper it before she suddenly collapsed and Dante carried her into the hospital proper to get her evaluated and cared for.

After some time, and relatives and friends pouring into the waiting area, Lulu was diagnosed with an indeterminate coma – meaning, as her mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) had so many years before, she may come out of the coma and recover, or she may never wake up. Laura was quick to get her transferred to a facility in New York City that specializes in these types of cases, whereas Laura had been in a facility overseas in France.

General Hospital viewers who follow Emme and her family know that during this time, she and her family were traveling across the country packed into their vehicle – all two adults, three children, two cats and two dogs! Whether Emme’s personal situations had anything to do with her being written out of General Hospital for a while is unknown, but shortly after Lulu exited the canvas Emme wrote her fans on social media about their housing dilemma. They had been renting their Los Angeles area home and their landlord sold it out from under them with not giving them an option to purchase!

They travelled to the St. Louis, Missouri area where they stayed with a close friend of hers for nearly a year, and just recently found another home in the Los Angeles area where they have completed a move to. Coincidentally, or perhaps not, an anonymous drop on the Daytime Dish Insider’s Lounge website recently states that Frank Valentini is in talks with Emme to come back to General Hospital as Lulu. Fans will have to watch Emme’s social media for clues and also keep up with the show to see if the writers drop storyline hints about the return of Lulu Spencer over the next few months. Currently, the show is filmed up through July and cast and crew are returning from a period of hiatus, in other words vacation to film new episodes.
