While her biological mother Laura finds her way back at the Cobbles only to ask help from Kelly’s foster father, Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo), revealing she’s barely living by with her little money.

Next week in the long-running soap, Laura lands a job in the Underworld when Carla Barlow (Alison King) recruits for a new cleaner at the factory.

However as TV Times reported, Laura will work at the Underworld, but her income “won’t stretch very far,” so she will take advantage of Kelly in prison to earn some serious cash.

Learning from Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) that Fiz Stape’s (Jennie McAlpine) was offered money in exchange for her story, about getting dumped over younger models, to get published in the Weatherfield Gazette, Laura comes up with a shameless plan.

Later next week, Laura advances her plan by meeting with the journalist Chris Golding (Lois Mackie) in the empty factory.

She offers Kelly’s story to get published in the Gazette and thinks of the possible amount of money she can receive with it.

However, Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) discovers Laura with Chris during her rounds at the factory. Will she tell others about what she has just seen?
