General Hospital spoilers reveal Peter August losing even more of his mind than he already has and deciding the best way to get revenge on Valentin Cassadine for betraying him is to kidnap his baby.

When Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) gave Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) her baby for safe keeping, Brook promised Maxie that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) would never let anything happen to a child he thinks is his own. Too bad nobody thought of the fact that Peter (Wes Ramsey) might decide to kidnap Valentin’s baby out of revenge — or even because he doesn’t think Valentin deserves another daughter when he can’t have his own child with him.

Of course, everyone will be frantic searching for little Bailey Louise and Peter will remain none the wiser that this child is his. And nobody will find it strange — yet — that Maxie will be more worried about Brook Lynn’s baby than her own. At the moment, nobody finds it strange that Maxie’s baby was allegedly kidnapped at birth and Maxie is just going on with life as if none of that ever happened.

GH Spoilers – The Truth About Maxie’s Baby Has To Come Out

If Peter gets a hold of this baby, he will have no idea this is his own baby and will undoubtedly put her in danger because he is Peter and he can never think straight. Either Maxie will admit that Bailey is her own Louise before everyone confronts Peter (likely on a cliff) or the truth will come out when Peter threatens the baby and Maxie has to make sure Peter knows he would be hurting his own child.

This would spell the end of this ill-conceived baby switch story but the fallout will be dramatic as Valentin will have to come to terms with the fact that he is not a father twice over. Will Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) be there to comfort him or will he go off the deep end and vow revenge on Brook Lynn, scaring Anna away.
