Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has done nothing wrong in this version of Phick. Yet Nick is convincing himself that she has.

It is fair to conclude, not just theorize, that Nick’s mind is geared to default to an unsettled stance. He seeks relationship breaks because of the long history of instability he experienced through his father and mother’s many unions.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Niktor Can Not Be Fully Blamed

Blame Niktor to a certain degree? Yes, that is reasonable because Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) childish battles are legendary.

Niktor has been married to each other on three occasions. They have also married many other people.

Soap fans understand that marriage changes are staples for enduring characters. But Victor and Nikki’s examples are not explained away by pointing to other bad examples.

However, Nick is an adult. He is capable of recognizing the pattern he has fallen into and then course-correct.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Is Being Patient

One element of Phyllis that is different now, as compared to the past, is the patience she is exhibiting. No one can claim that Stafford’s character is not being supportive of Nick, as he deals with the latest Newman family crisis.

Phyllis’ patience with Nick exists because of her own experiences in life. She has been married multiple times as well, including twice to Nick. He has been married to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan).

Devoted fans suspect that Phyllis will not maintain a deferential stance indefinitely. And she should not have to, as that would not be part of a respectful relationship.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Enters The Scene

Enter Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), stage left or right, or wherever Phyllis might be. Then recall his tell to her about his feelings. That seemed like a sign when it happened.

Will Jack take Nick’s spot if Phyllis wants him to do so? That answer projects to an almost certain yes.

It seems that Nick feels Phick must inevitably end because it has before. Jack senses that fatalistic outlook. With that, Phack has a realistic chance of reforming in the near future.

      The best thing Nick ever did was to get rid of Phyllis. Her past is such that she is always guilty of something. Phyllis is not by no means innocent.
