Neighbours Spoilers: Glen Returns, Can He Handle His Job At The Vineyard?

Neighbours Neighbours spoilers and updates reveals last week, viewers watched as Paul was haunted by a face from his past: his paternal half-brother, Glen. Paul and his estranged brother had a rocky relationship – Paul never truly accepted him as he was the result of their father’s affair.

Terese met Glen for the first time during her business trip to Queensland, when he helped her out when she was passed out drunk. So, when Glen later turns up in Erinsborough, she’s shocked.

Whereas Paul is delighted – thrilled that he has a chance to reconnect with his brother – Terese is confused. She wants to know why Glen is in town, especially when he doesn’t seem to be a fan of Paul.

Neighbours Spoilers – A Heart To Heart Talk

When Glen and Terese sit down for a heart to heart, he’s honest about being distant with Paul, explaining their history. Glen begins to feel a strong bond with Terese. As their chat gets deeper, Glen feels comfortable and makes some negative comments about Terese and Paul’s marriage. Terese doesn’t feel like it’s any of his business, so although she’s enjoying getting to spend time with Glen, she makes it clear that her and Paul’s marriage is off limits to him.

Not only have Terese and Glen both been wronged by Paul, but they both also share addiction issues with alcohol. So later, when Glen sees Terese attending AA at the community centre, he is relieved. He genuinely cares for Terese now and, after seeing how drunk she was in Queensland, is happy she’s taking a positive step in her recovery.

Neighbours Spoilers  – Glen Abbey Staying In Town Longer

Elsewhere, Paul is keen for Glen to stay in town longer, so arranges for Leo to give him a job at the vineyard. Although Glen is unsure at first, questioning what Paul’s motives might be, he accepts, much to the disapproval of Terese. A vineyard isn’t the best place for an alcoholic to work.

Glen assures her everything will be fine and he can handle it– but is he telling the truth?
