The streaming network seldom disappoints with new original shows. For example, Shondaland’s upcoming new series, Inventing Anna, is one of the most highly anticipated Netflix series to come out in 2022. The series is based on the New York Magazine article, “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People,” written by Jessica Pressler. The series will take viewers from her humble beginnings to her rise, and then ultimate fall. Anyway, that comes soon.

Stranger Things also comes with another season. Millie Bobbie Brown quickly started working on a second Enola Holmes movie for Netflix. They completed filming in September. However, it’s not clear that fans see it much before August 2022. Still, in time, good things come to those who wait. Now the new show comes and it sounds promising, especially if you love cooking and chocolate. Fans will see eight contestants fight it out for an opportunity that might change their lives.

School of Chocolate Mentor – Amaury Guichon

Are you slavering yet? His YouTube account reveals that he’s been in the industry for more than 16 years and started a special pastry school in Las Vegas called the Pastry Academy. You can see his post about the school show there as well. You can see the trailer further down in this post.

The School of Chocolate cast who compete for the top prize include Juan Gutierrez, Amanda Miller, Cedrick Simpson, and Daniel Joseph Corpuz. The other four are Mellisa Root, Stephanie Norcio, Thiago Silva, and Tyricia Clark. They are all top experts in their field. So, expect some tough competition. Juan already “won Best Chocolate Showpiece and Best Dessert Table at World of Chocolate 2018.” Meanwhile, Amanda is an instructor at The Culinary Institute of Michigan. Next, you will see Cedrick, who fell in love with The Willy Wonka movie and works at the Capital City Club.

Experience amongst those competing for the win comes from Daniel who owns his own line of specialist chocolate. Then, Mellisa owns “The Hairy Lobster and Mellisa Root Chocolates and Confection.” Stephanie used to work as the  Executive Pastry Chef at The Strand House in Manhattan Beach. Thiago, an executive pastry chef also starts his own bakery and sweet shop. Meanwhile, Tyricia also owns her own place named T Cakes.
