British royal family news reveals that Prince Andrew’s legal team has taken an unusual tack in his pending Ghislaine Maxwell/Jeffrey Epstein-related lawsuit. Maxwell was convicted yesterday on sex trafficking charges and Epstein died in jail on similar charges.
Now it’s emerged that his lawyers have dropped an “unprecedented” bid for secrecy around the evidence in the case.
Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Is A Plaintiff
The case against Prince Andrew has been brought by Virginia Giuffre. The woman claims that, “she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York in London, New York and the U.S. Virgin Islands when she was a 17-year-old trafficking victim,” under the direction of Maxwell/Epstein.
Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Faces Court Action
Andrew’s lawyers want the case dismissed and the two parties are said to be arguing about how and when to disclose evidence.
Sigrid McCawley represents Giuffre. She wrote a letter to the defense (seen by Newsweek) accusing the prince’s team of secrecy.
She wrote: “The main substantive disagreement in the parties’ drafts is your inclusion of an unprecedented paragraph, which would allow you to keep deposition materials sealed from the public even if neither party designates the underlying testimony as Confidential.”
Royal Family News – The Court Lawyers Are Not In Agreement
She said that, “there is no logic or authority for such a provision … We intend to raise the issue with the Court.” She also pushed Prince Andrew’s team to name a date when he will be deposed, indicating that Giuffre is ready to give her deposition in March or April of 2022.
She wrote, “On December 6, 2021, Plaintiff agreed to your requested extension of Prince Andrew’s deadline to respond to the discovery requests to December 27, 2021, and again asked you to select a date for Prince Andrew’s deposition. You did not respond.”
“On December 17, 2021, we re-sent you the draft protective order and again asked for dates for Prince Andrew’s deposition. You did not respond.”

She went on, “Up until this point, Plaintiff has agreed to every extension requested and has expressed a willingness to work collaboratively with Prince Andrew to find a time and place for his deposition that would be convenient for him.”
For Andrew’s part, his lawyers want the judge to suspend disclosure of evidence and throw the case out entirely because Giuffre lives in Australia.

I feel so sorry for the Queen. What her family has gone through in the last few years.
With the marriage of Harry & Meghan what they have put her through. To the loss of her husband and life partner Prince Philip the love of her life.
The last what her son Andrew has put his mother through. You would think he would have been a little SMARTER! What you can & can't do with under age girls! Now payment is due.
