It appears as though everyone who is important over at Buckingham Palace plans on seeing President Donald Trump when he visits London next month, except for the lone American in the monarchy: Meghan Markle.
There are new reports say that Prince Harry, Prince William and even Kate Middleton will visit with Trump while Meghan is reportedly skipping the affair. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Elle, Meghan’s husband Harry will join Trump for a private lunch with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, meanwhile, will join Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles for a welcoming ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Prince William And Kate Middleton Will Join Donald And Melania For Tea
William and Kate will also be on hand for a special tea with Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump the following day.
The reason why Meghan Markle won’t be participating in any of the scheduled events with the President of the United States is because she is currently on maternity leave. The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to her first baby, a boy named Archie Harrison. The little tot was born back in May 6th.
Now, for a lot of royal critics they believe that the timing couldn’t be any more perfect for the Los Angeles-born Duchess. That’s because she’s been very vocal about her dislike for Trump. In the past and before she met Prince Harry, she’s had quite a few things to say about him on the record.
Meghan Markle Was An Outspoken Supporter Of Hilary Clinton In 2016
Meghan said that Donald Trump was both “misogynistic” and “divisive” and was also an outspoken supporters of Hilary Clinton back in 2016. As a matter of fact, she also encouraged her social media followers to vote for Clinton that election year.
Now whether or not Meghan Markle will meet with Donald Trump during future visits remains to be seen. For now, it looks like the Duchess managed to avoid a rather awkward photo op with the President by staying home and tending to her new bundle of joy instead.
This summer, a special @RCT exhibition ‘Queen Victoria’s Palace’ will tell the story of how the young Queen transformed Buckingham Palace from a private house into a working royal residence.

However, we are sure that Meghan’s husband Prince Harry will be able to relay whatever message Meghan has through him. At least, that’s what our hope is. Fingers crossed!
