General Hospital Spoilers: Martin Grey Gets Peter August Off The Hook!

General Hospital Spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has awakened after he was poisoned in prison. This is bad news for most of Port Charles, as Peter is a dangerous criminal who has caused insurmountable harm to many of its residents. But Peter is still in police custody, and once his condition stabilizes, he will return to prison while he awaits his trial for the murder of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). To that end, Peter has hired none other than Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) to represent him in his upcoming legal battle.

General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Gray Isn’t A bad guy!

Martin may be a lot of things, but he isn’t a bad guy. But he is motivated by money, and Peter has plenty of it. So Martin has agreed to represent Peter for a hefty retainer. But there were conditions that Martin insisted on. He demanded his retainer up front.

And he warned Peter that this arrangement was only good for Franco’s murder, and not the myriad of other charges that Peter faces in other jurisdictions. Peter happily agreed. But this news has upset several Port Charles residents, most notably Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). But that likely won’t keep Martin from taking the case.

GH Spoilers – Will Martin Gray Tank His Own Case?

One possibility is that Martin will work against Peter and tank the case. That would endear him to many in Port Charles, but unfortunately it seems that this scenario is unlikely. It would damage Martin’s reputation and could easily keep him from getting other work in the future. So as much as it may pain people like Maxie and Valentin, it seems as though Martin will do his best to get Peter acquitted. But he has his work cut out for him, because the police have a recorded confession.

General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Gray Will Likely Get Peter August Exonerated For The Murder Of Franco Baldwin!

If Martin can get the confession that Peter made to Maxie thrown out as evidence, his next step will likely be to go after Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Viewers may remember that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) paid Gladys to say that it was Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who she witnessed at the scene of the crime, when it was actually Peter.

General Hospital spoilers and recaps reveal Jason was actually arrested and imprisoned for several months because of this. But it won’t be difficult for Martin to cast doubt on Gladys’ testimony, since she lied once already. And this may be enough to get Peter acquitted.
