Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday October 9: Victoria Gives Dad Ultimatum, Adam and Phyllis Get Unexpected Visitor, and Lola Offers Advice

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday October 9th indicate that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will give her father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) an ultimatum, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will receive an unexpected guest, and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) offers advice to her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

At home, Lola and Kyle take a break from house hunting to discuss Jabot. Kyle expresses his frustrations with working with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lola advises establishing boundaries between him and Billy. Kyle admits it would be great to have Victoria working for them and he needs to push his ego aside.

Lola talks about how Billy’s showing his true colors and suggest Kyle could use it to his advantage. She says the more Billy tries to undermine Kyle, then it’ll backfire and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get rid of him. Lola advises Kyle to hang in there and let Billy sabotage himself.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Finds The Letter Opener

Victoria and Billy are at Society, and she explains she’s been restless at night. She says she can’t imagine a future without Victor or his legacy. Billy again brings up the possibility of her coming to work at Jabot. Victoria declines the offer and will try to get Victor to change his mind.

Victor arrives at Newman Enterprises and is shocked to find the letter opener stuck in his portrait. When Victoria arrives, Victor brings up her throwing the letter opener at his painting, but Victoria wants to discuss business. Victoria tells Victor he’s always been her hero and he gave her everything she ever wanted, except for the chair. Victoria says she’s ready to become CEO of Newman Enterprises and tells Victor if he can’t come to terms with that then their relationship is over.

She warns if she doesn’t get what she wants, she’ll leave to start her own company and come after him. She explains the rest of her terms then tells Victor either to take her offer or leave it. After listening to Victoria’s demands, Victor says he’s proud of her and says she really is his daughter. He pulls out the CEO chair and tells Victoria it’s hers. Victoria is shocked, but Victor says he’s sincere. The two hug and Victoria thanks her father and also promises to carry on his legacy. Victor cries as he watches Victoria take over Newman Enterprises.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Theo Vanderway Has Himself A Pity Party

At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) meets with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). He informs a stunned Mariah that he quit Power Communications and when she asks why, he replies he wasn’t a good fit. Mariah then tells Theo she knows the truth, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) fired him. Theo says Devon overreacted, but Mariah says she was once like Theo and that type of behavior will cause loneliness.

Later Theo meets Summer Newman (Hunter King) at Society where they talk about his firing. Theo says it’s not bothering him, but Summer believes that if Theo can’t work for Devon, then he can’t work for anyone else. Summer tells Theo to check his ego and says life isn’t a social media feed.

Theo remarks that she was once like him and he says he sorry he’s not as mature as her. Kyle and Lola arrive, and Lola tells Summer about Kyle taking charge at work. Later Lola goes into the kitchen, while Kyle and Summer talk. He says he knows what he wants, but it may not be easy to get it. Later Summer and Kyle are at Jabot working. She tells him to leave and go home to Lola. She warns Kyle not to get too caught up in work like she did and now she regrets it.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman No Longer Wants Revenge

In Vegas, Phyllis is harassing Adam about the next step in his plan. Adam informs Phyllis he doesn’t have a plan, and this is his new home. Phyllis says there’s no way he can disappear given his family name, then tells him to pack his bags because they have unfinished business in Genoa City. Phyllis reminds him of how well they worked together and says she wants revenge. She also tells Adam no charges will be filed against him. Adam says he doesn’t care about that and wants to concentrate on playing poker.

Phyllis suggests a game between the two, if he wins she’ll leave him alone, but if she wins he has to give her answers. Phyllis starts dealing the cards and Adam mentions her moving to Vegas. Phyllis says she can’t do it because her daughter is in Genoa City, then brings up Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Adam comments that his son is better off without him in his life. The two play cards and Phyllis wins. Phyllis asks about Adam’s confrontation with Victor and Adam explains everything that went down.

Phyllis comments that Victor’s defenses are down and now is the time for Adam to proceed with his plan to take over Newman Enterprises. She says she’ll help him in any way with his plan, and Adam reminds her he’s no longer out for revenge, yet Phyllis has her doubts. There’s a knock at the door and when Phyllis answers she finds Cane Ashby (Daniel Goodard).
