And it’s a bird… no, it’s a plane… oh, wait. That vision in the sky got identified as North West. And when Kanye West’s daughter turned 9, Kim Kardashian found it appropriate to celebrate on land and sky. As a result, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” (KUWTK) star decorated her private plane to fly North and her friends to a birthday party.

Reddit KUWTK fans promptly turned pics of that event viral. And the comments proved both hilarious and insightful. For instance, one pointed out, “You know you’re rich when you get to theme your private jet for a kids’ party!”

However, some fans enjoyed celebrity kid watching. For example, one noted that Jessica Simpson’s little daughter joined the guests. And Selena Gomez’s young sister frolicked with the other celebrity children as well. But some defended the seemingly over-the-top extravagance. For example, several admitted they would treat their children just like that if possible.

But Kim Kardashian herself seemed oblivious to any reason to criticize the use of a private jet for a 9-year-old’s birthday party. And the KUWTK star even shared photos of the extravagant party for North West on Instagram. Kim’s friends, family, and followers rushed to praise the elaborate decorations.

However, leave it to Jessica Simpson to spill all the celebrity kid tea. Simpson shared that her daughter Maxwell,10, and Kanye’s oldest child North West have become best friends, noted Page Six. And Jessica gushed over North, calling her “amazing.” Simpson predicted that “great kid” North will become “a part of a change in this world.”

As a result of the pics, some wondered if Kim went too far in the scary side of her decorations. But Kardashian explained the reason. North West has gotten “really into special effects makeup. She does really good wounds and scars,” shared the mom of Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3. Because North took classes, she “wanted to teach her girlfriends [with mannequin heads].”
