Royal Family News: Queen Asked Meghan Markle To See Her Sick Dad And She Refused

British royal family news divulges that Meghan Markle refused to comply with a simple request made by Queen Elizabeth in 2018. According to British biographer Tom Bower, the queen asked Meghan to, “fly to Mexico to reconcile with her estranged father.” He makes the claim in a shocking new book titled, Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War between the Windsors. The book drops this week and is being excerpted in The Sunday Times newspaper.

In the book Bowers claims that both the Queen and Meghan’s FIL Prince Charles were confused as to why Meghan continued to ignore her father, even after he had medical problems.

According to the book, Prince Charles initially suggested the idea following a stay in Scotland in July 2018 with his Camilla, Prince Harry, and Markle.

Charles allegedly was annoyed by Thomas Markle at the time. In May he was unable to travel abroad, on doctor’s orders after suffering a heart attack. This made it impossible for him to attend Harry and Meghan’s wedding and Charles was forced to walk the blushing bride down the aisle.

Prince Charles Was Annoyed With Thomas Markle

In June 2018 Thomas Markle appeared on ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” and in July he was interviewed by The Sun and the Daily Mail.

The royals were not in agreement with Thomas’ media appearances and Prince Charles reportedly asked, “Can’t she just go and see him and make this stop?” Bower wrote that later Charles and the Queen called Markle and Harry, and requested she go to see her father.

Meghan Markle Rejected the Queen?

According to Bowers, Markle refused to do as asked, calling the idea, “completely unrealistic.”

Earlier this year Markle was due to attend the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee but he suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. Meghan allegedly has not bothered to visit her father following his stroke, but days later she did travel to Uvalde, Texas for a photo op at a memorial for school shooting victims.
