Selling Sunset: Christine Quinn Drags Co-Stars

Don’t even try to mess with the drama queen in Christine Quinn, she’s always ready to display, anyhow you want it. Quinn recently got some words for her Selling Sunset co-stars. In an interview with The New York Times, the 33-year-old real estate agent defends her past behavior and slams the people alongside whom she stars in the Netflix series.

“I feel like I was the only one that understood the assignment,” the Netflix personality, 33, told The New York Times in an interview published on Friday, July 15. “I was the only one that said, ‘Hey, this is a show, and I’m going to give the world a show.’”

Like I said before, Quinn is a drama queen. Quinn has been known for stirring up drama in the past, formerly with Chrishell Stause and Heather Rae Young, and most recently with Emma Hernan. In season 5 of Selling Sunset, Hernan claimed that Quinn offered a client $5,000 to stop working with her, something Quinn has denied. “There’s absolutely no truth to this. I don’t know why Emma is once again trying to make me look bad and stir the pot and make up lies about me.”

The real estate agent has previously slammed the Netflix hit for allegedly using “fake storylines” and editing episodes in a misleading way. Earlier this year, she claimed that a bribery plot featured in season 5 was entirely fabricated for the show.

“Bless their hearts for trying [to make it a big deal],” she exclusively told Us Weekly in May. “But no, that absolutely did not happen. … I watched the show and I was shocked. I was completely shocked.”

The reality star and the Emma Leigh & Co. founder, 31, previously clashed in season 4 when Quinn claimed that her ex-boyfriend cheated on her with her costar. Emma denied the accusation, alleging that Quinn and the ex in question, Peter Cornell, had already split when she started dating him.

The controversy around Quinn continued to swirl when a source told ET that she wasn’t invited to the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards. Quinn also slammed her castmates for speculating about whether she really gave birth to her son Christian, now 14 months. The broker shares the little one with her husband, Christian Richard.

“I was completely blindsided by all the negativity people threw at me when my baby bump didn’t look the way they thought it should,” she wrote. “The clash of hormones left me with a nasty case of postpartum depression, which was only made worse by pretty much every post on the Daily Mail saying I faked my pregnancy and hired a surrogate. Talk about twisting the f–king knife.”

Selling Sunset — Quinn Reveals She Has Left The Oppenheim Group

In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Quinn confirmed that she has left the O Group, but it’s to focus on bringing crypto to real estate, not because of the plentiful office drama.

Over a Zoom interview, Quinn joked about how the early bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox was from “the wizard game,” referring to Magic: the Gathering. She had gone through a phase of being interested in NFTs, but “you can’t live in an NFT,” Quinn said.

Quinn assured fans of “Selling Sunset” that although she quit the Oppenheim Group, she isn’t quitting the show, and will appear on Season 6 — she’s just no longer promoting her old boss. “It’ll be an interesting new season!” she told BuzzFeed News.

In an interview with ET, Jason Oppenheim commented on whether or not he’d welcome Quinn back to the show following the bribery allegations.

“Right now, there’s not a place for her at the Oppenheim Group,” he said on the season 5 reunion of Selling Sunset. “Now, in the future, if she takes real estate seriously, if I can get an understanding on her perspective on things, if she changes her behavior, if she brings in a big listing, there’s a lot of reasons where I would consider her having a place at the Oppenheim Group, but right now, there is no place.”
