General Hospital Spoilers: Esme’s Baby Daddy Is… Victor?

General Hospital spoilers reveals Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is noticeably pregnant, and she’s claiming the child is the next Cassadine hier. While the odds aren’t impossible that she is indeed pregnant with Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) child, it’s more likely that Esme is playing Nikolas for a fool.

The question is, if the baby isn’t Nik’s, whose is it? Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) would be the next most likely guess. Some fans have whispered it could be Oz Haggerty’s (Max Faugno) child, but that hardly gives Esme any leverage — and to be honest, Oz was a bit beneath her. Could it be Uncle Victor is the baby’s father?

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Gets Around

Esme was lurking in the shadows all over Port Charles before she ever surfaced at Wyndemere the first time — during Spencer’s house party. When she came back the second time — following her accident on the parapet — she once again took her time before revealing herself at Wyndemere, and only to Nikolas.

She quickly shared that a Canadian fisherman had pulled her from the waters after her fall and nursed her back to health. Somehow, she sustained a pregnancy during her plummet and near drowning. The bones of her story don’t add up very well. Still, it’s possible Esme got pregnant after her tumble down into the water, but she would’ve needed a lot of help without a man already on her hook.

GH Spoilers Indicate Victor Needs Esme as Much as She Needs Him

The truth is, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) would find Esme’s help as valuable as she would find his. They make a fantastic alliance for taking down Nikolas — the current Cassadine in control of the family fortune that Victor is dying to get his hands on.

With Esme’s help, Victor would be able to manipulate Nikolas into divorcing Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) — which hasn’t been going his way thus far. In return, Victor acting as sperm donor for Esme’s baby would ensure the baby comes out with Cassadine DNA. It just wouldn’t be DNA that confirmed a match for paternity with Nikolas.
