Kanye West Misses A Major Divorce Court Appearance

Kanye West isn’t making divorce easy for Kim Kardashian. It was just over two years ago that the reality TV star filed for divorce. However, West has made it very difficult for her to get her final divorce decree.

West agreed to meet with Kardashian’s attorney Laura Wasser on November 16. The rapper didn’t appear for the court appearance, making it his third no-show. West has a new deposition date on Tuesday, November 29, before their December 14 divorce trial.

Kanye West Refuses To Cooperate With Kim Kardashian

According to reports, West has been uncooperative throughout the divorce proceedings. He either doesn’t show up for hearings or turns to social media to suggest he and Kim are getting back together.

Unless the former power couple can agree to their settlement, they must face off in divorce court to determine their custody arrangement and divide assets.

It’s doubtful that West will agree to settle out of court. According to TMZ, West and Kardashian have considerable wealth that must be divided. Both Kim and Kanye are now declared “legally single,’ all that’s left to dissolve their marriage is child custody and division of assets.

Kanye West’s Behavior Scares Those Close To Kim

Kim and Kanye married in 2014. In February 2021, Kim filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Several months later, Kanye agreed to proceed with the divorce, suggesting he wouldn’t challenge Kim. Kanye dragged his feet in the following months and made the process as slow as possible. Kim had enough and filed in February 2022 for the court to force Kanye to cooperate or take the divorce to trial.

Since then, Pop Culture reports, West tends to lash out at Kardashian on social media. At first, he targeted Kim’s ex-boyfriend, Peter Davidson. He went as far as to spit out Kardashian’s family conspiracy theories— in a plot to keep the Kardashian/Jenner family away from his four children.

West has lost all his credibility. He has made it his mission to create scandals and strife constantly. Whether his motive is attention seeking or if he really believes the antisemitic conspiracy theories, it’s clear that Kim Kardashian is growing tired of his games and just wants to be completely free of him.

Let’s just hope that Kanye West shows up for court on November 29. If he doesn’t, the judge could look at West unfavorably, dragging the process out even more.
