General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Resists Phyllis’ Implication That She Is Willow’s Mother — Sonny Urges Her to Reconsider

General Hospital spoilers reveal Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are both headed to Charlie’s soon to get some fact time with Phylllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy).

Nina is merely seeking Phyllis out because she needs a friend to confide in. She feels terrible about the way she has treated Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) recently now that she knows Willow isn’t just pregnant but is battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

She’s probably hoping Nina will reinstill some faith in her that she’s not a completely horrible person and should cut herself some slack. However, what Nina doesn’t know is that Drew has also come knocking on Phyllis’ door. His interest? Phyllis’ experiences with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), as well as Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).

Nina is going to open up to Phyllis, as usual, and she can expect that her bartending friend will listen with a heavy heart. Phyllis rarely sees the bad in Nina and will likely remind her she is worthy of giving herself some grace, because there was no way Nina could have known Willow was ill at the time.

Phyllis will remind Nina that what matters now is how she treats Willow now that she does have all of the information. This might be Nina’s time to shine and mend fences with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow, which is all Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) really wants, too.

Drew is going to chat with Phyllis and look for details about her connection to Harmony and the extenuating circumstances surrounding Nelle’s birth and transport to another family.

Obviously, Drew already knows Nina is Willow’s birth mother, but if he goes to them with that information now, he will have to expose Carly and share how he came to know that truth. Out of his interest to protect Carly’s relationship with her son and his family, Drew is going to attempt to orchestrate a different path to the truth, and he’s hoping it starts with Phyllis.

Phyllis knows Drew is looking for the truth about Willow’s birth family, and when he comes nosing around about Harmony again and asking about Nelle’s birth, Phyllis is going to grow suspicious that Drew thinks Willow may somehow tie into that equation. Still, when she tries to convince Nina to consider that Willow may be her daughter — not Nelle — Nina is going to resist it.

It’s too painful for her to think that Nelle wasn’t her daughter now, and she has no idea she gave birth to twins. Sonny may push Nina to reconsider what Phyllis is saying, but it won’t go far with her. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this storyline develops.
