Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley recently started their prison sentences. And that fact understandably impacts their children. But their teenager, Grayson, might suffer the most.
And a new report reveals just how the 16-year-old struggled after the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch and matriarch headed to prison. Learn what his sister Savannah shared. And get more details about the latest for the Chrisley Knows Best clan below.
Savannah Chrisley – Shares Brother Grayson’s ‘Breakdown’
Chrisley Knows Best fans watched Grayson Chrisley, now 16, grow up on the reality TV show. And they know how close Todd and Julie’s son had become to his parents. As a result, the Chrisley patriarch and matriarch starting their 19-year combined prison sentence this month caused a breakdown for Grayson, said his 25-year-old sister via Page Six.
Turning to her podcast, Savannah described what happened. Because of Grayson’s age, Savannah feels that their parents’ prison sentence hit home the hardest. “Grayson is 16 years old, [and] there’s so much growth going on with him right now,” pointed out his older sister.
“And it breaks my heart to know that my parents are missing out on that,” added Savannah during this week’s episode of her podcast, “Unlocked.” But Savannah noted that beyond her parents missing out on Grayson growing up, the teenager has experienced “a breakdown.” And she shared that the breakdown just happened in the past few days.
Grayson Chrisley – Hates Thinking Of Parents Behind Bars
Because of the lengthy prison sentence, Grayson faces a struggle. For instance, the teenager wants to remember his parents in a positive light. But Savannah’s younger brother feels just as aware of Todd and Julie’s new reality behind bars.

As a result, Grayson keeps ” trying to process my parents and the situation that they’re in,” pointed out his older sister. “And how that’s not the image that he wants to have of them,” she added. But Savannah took over custody of Grayson after their parents went to prison, meaning that she needs to help her brother.
However, the Chrisley Knows Best star also assumed custody of her parents’ adopted daughter Chloe. And she shared that she wants to do her best to guide the younger people understand the situation. “I’m trying to stand strong and not break and be strong for them, so they feel comfortable enough to break down,” shared Savannah. “And it’s tough.” For instance, Chloe can’t understand why her parents landed behind bars.
“Chloe at 10 years old is trying to process them being gone and missing her mom,” explained Savannah. “We were driving down the road the other day. And Chloe had so much anger towards the situation and she just said, ‘Why? They’re not bad people, they don’t belong there.’ [We’re] trying everything that she can possibly do to get them home,” Savannah promised the little girl.
