The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be shocked when the paternity results come in. Considering Nick was the only one who was tested, if it isn’t him, it has to be Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) unless Sally’s got a big secret-the father is…?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Business Meeting

Nick shows up at Society right when Sally and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) are finishing up with their meeting, and Nick offers to buy dinner for them.

Chloe respectfully declines, as she has to get home to her own family and so she heads out, while Nick notices Sally is overwrought with anxiety. Sally is extremely stress prone and she’s unfortunately way too good at creating stress in her own life, and worried over the pending results of the paternity test.

Sally can’t get herself to focus on anything else, even though Nick tells her it will likely be a few more days before the paternity test results come in. He tries to get her to relax and suggests they get down to eating their dinner, but her overactive mind won’t rest.

Y & R Spoilers – Nervous And More Nervous

The attempt at changing the subject doesn’t alleviate Sally’s anxiety when they talk about her upcoming meeting with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Sally’s all worried about not having a job in this day and age, and being a single mother with a child to raise-she and her sister should know.

Things got better when their grandmother, Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) stepped in and the girls learned about high fashion from their great aunt Sally Spectra l (Darlene Conley).

Sally also remains nervous about who the baby’s father is, Nick or Adam, and what Nick will do in either case-Nick’s already raising one of Adam’s boys. Sally can’t imagine he’d want to help raise another nephew, and can’t help but dwell on worst case scenarios if the baby is Adam’s, determined by process of elimination.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Results Are In

As if anything could get any worse, as she and Nick continue their dinner, in walks Adam and of course his eyes go straight to the two of them.

Nick is very perceptive and can tell she’s uncomfortable and suggests they leave, going to Sally’s hotel suite, and he tries to get her in a better mood. Nick does his best to distract her from her anxiety, both about whose baby it is and worrying about becoming a mother, assuming a single one and making a stable life.

Then on top of everything else, Sally’s phone pings, and indeed it is the hospital with a text with a link for the results. She puts it in and she and Nick find out who the daddy is, and it’s a shock to both of them-now they have to figure out what’s next.
