‘Dukes Of Hazzard’ Star John Schneider Reflects On Death Of Wife Alicia At 53

John Schneider has opened up about his emotions after the death of his wife Alicia. And the Dukes of Hazzard star, 62, shared that his wife’s passing at age 53 made him reflect on how much he loved her. But Schneider also sent a message to his fans.

John Schneider – Mourns Death Of Wife Alicia, 53

Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider, 62, mourns the passing of his wife, Alicia Allain. And last week, the actor turned to Facebook a day after Alicia’s death to share his loss. Schneider’s wife died at home with her family at age 53, reported People.

“My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus,” wrote the actor on Facebook. And he shared a sweet photo with Alicia and John together. But in addition to a picture in which the couple showed off their wedding rings, Schneider asked for privacy. 

“Please respect our privacy during this time of grief,” requested the Dukes of Hazzard star. And he also asked, “Please do not ask any questions.” However, Schneider did make two other requests from his fans. First, John asked, “If you have any pictures of us and our obvious love and adoration for each other, please post them below.” And last, he added, “Hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did.”

Schneider and ex-wife Elvira (Elly) share a son Chasen and daughters Leah and Karis from their marriage, which lasted from 1993 to 2019. In addition, the actor and Tawny Little were married from 1983 to 1986.  And Allain co-parented a daughter, Jessica Ann, with her ex-husband Patrick Dollard. Alicia and Patricia were married from 1994 to 1999.

Dukes Of Hazzard Star Shares Wife’s Cancer Struggles

Allain and Schneider previously shared her battle with breast cancer during an appearance on Fox & Friends. And she described herself as diagnosed “with stage 4 HER2 negative cancer.” However, Schneider’s wife decided to try a holistic approach to fight her diagnosis. “I went into like a speed course of reading what path I was going to take,” explained Alicia. And she used “keto for cancer, CBD oil and then ground myself in minerals. I really got into a really rigid regime.”

But as Scheider looked back on their life after his wife’s death, he focused his Facebook memories on their love. For instance, another post showed John and Alicia dancing together. “A beautiful moment caught,” he wrote.

And Schneider’s Dukes of Hazzard costar Tom Wopat shared his own photo of John and Alicia on Facebook. “I’ve just gotten word that John Schneider’s wife, Alicia, passed away today,” revealed Wopat. And he added, “I didn’t get any details. But I don’t need any to be aware of the pain and loss that John’s dealing with. My thoughts and prayers are with him, along with the thoughts and prayers of the entire Dukes nation.” And the actor, 71, added, “Alicia was a force in his life and career, and she will be missed.”
